David is the host of As The Pokeball Turns, where different guests are interviewed about their experience with Pokemon. With a background in Pokemon since the beginning, David brings a wealth of knowledge about the Pokemon games, Pokemon TCG, and even Pokemon GO! He is passionate about Pokemon, mental health, disability advocacy, and enjoys sharing insights on how Pokemon has helped change many people's lives in an engaging, approachable way.

Outside of the podcast, David has worked in the Social Work field for over 10 years providing services to people living with personality disorders, disabilities, refugees and asylees, and homeless Veterans. When not talking into a mic, you can find walking his dogs, hiking, or attending other Pokemon events to help improve the Pokemon Community in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

My guilty pleasure are pop boy-bands (Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers, One Direction, etc.)

Dux is a rescued basenji and one of the co-hosts of As The Pokeball Turns, where different guests are interviewed about their experience with Pokemon. He is often found either curled up or sunbathing in the sun. He is responsible for ensuring David touches grass and takes his job very seriously. Known for his independent nature and inability to bark (Basenjis don’t do that), his expressive eyes speak volumes.

His favorite treat? Anything peanut butter-based, though he’s also a fan of coconut. Dux greatest skill is his ability to being a brat when he doesn't get what he wants. Dux brings the chaos when grass is not touched.

Layla is a basenji, a retired show-dog, and one of the co-hosts of As The Pokeball Turns, where different guests are interviewed about their experience with Pokemon. She is often found relaxing in her kennel. She takes charge of making sure feeding time is always on schedule and is very particular about maintaining a consistent routine. She makes her dissatisfaction known when her scheduled meal is running late. Also known for her independent nature and inability to bark (Basenjis don’t do that), her expressive noises speak volumes on her approval of her living arrangements.

Her favorite treat? Anything crunchy. She shows indifference towards flavor and is more motivated by texture. Layla's greatest skill is her ability to be quick and run very fast!
