TRAINER'S EYE #113 - "Meowstic's Shadow" ft. After Darkrai

TRAINER'S EYE #113 -

In this Pokemon interview, we are joined by After Darkrai, a Pokemon podcast where the hosts has created a no-holds barred know nothing comedy podcast about Pokémon where they hurt the ones they love.

After Darkrai shares their initial entrance into the Pokemon franchise, starting with RBY. Both eventually returned to the franchise when Pokemon GO was launched and became instantly hooked with the idea of Pokemon existing in the real world.

Both guests dive into how Pokemon GO led them to starting the podcast and their unique approach to building their podcast. With a stress on comedy, foul mouth, and Pokemon, they have created a unique podcast that caters to a more mature audience interested in laughing about the franchise they love!

00:00:03.080 --> 00:00:04.969
I mean, I sound old.

00:00:05.309 --> 00:00:06.410
You sound really old.

00:00:06.709 --> 00:00:07.349
man.

00:00:07.360 --> 00:00:09.029
Why are we, uh,

00:00:09.759 --> 00:00:12.169
Like dude, have you seen our car?

00:00:12.169 --> 00:00:14.945
Have you seen our car

00:00:15.160 --> 00:00:16.469
We're ready for president.

00:00:17.030 --> 00:00:18.260
why are we doing it?

00:00:18.350 --> 00:00:18.870
Why are we

00:00:18.980 --> 00:00:19.859
Get off my lawn.

00:00:20.850 --> 00:00:24.274
got to sound raspy in your voice.

00:00:24.274 --> 00:00:29.265
This is my oven little child.

00:00:29.265 --> 00:00:30.097
Ahahahahahah.

00:00:30.097 --> 00:00:30.929
I've

00:00:31.010 --> 00:00:32.810
doing I don't know.

00:00:32.920 --> 00:00:33.490
I was trying to

00:00:33.539 --> 00:00:34.210
what are we doing?

00:00:34.270 --> 00:00:34.740
What are we doing?

00:00:35.009 --> 00:00:35.250
I've

00:00:35.380 --> 00:00:36.820
I don't think we're supposed to be recording a podcast.

00:00:37.070 --> 00:00:37.859
we're doing here.

00:00:38.030 --> 00:00:38.990
in my throat.

00:00:39.625 --> 00:00:40.804
Among other things.

00:00:40.804 --> 00:00:42.615
Oh,

00:00:43.250 --> 00:00:44.179
Whoa.

00:00:45.295 --> 00:00:48.295
you sound great Anna, for corpse.

00:00:48.329 --> 00:00:48.649
be for

00:00:48.945 --> 00:00:51.414
I thought we were doing the thing now.

00:00:51.479 --> 00:00:53.460
Me behind the dumpster in the hallway.

00:00:54.886 --> 00:00:59.456
Brett likes to be in the coffins with the other, other zombies.

00:00:59.530 --> 00:01:02.151
With the, I'm in the coffin with the coffins.

00:01:02.621 --> 00:01:05.391
Oh, I'm when I'm wheezing right now.

00:01:05.391 --> 00:01:07.510
I'm wheezing, Pokemon reference.

00:01:07.570 --> 00:01:08.480
Yes.

00:01:08.861 --> 00:01:09.361
All right.

00:01:09.551 --> 00:01:10.671
We, well, that's

00:01:10.695 --> 00:01:12.006
Oh, oh,

00:01:12.221 --> 00:01:14.801
we, uh, tied it back to Pokemon.

00:01:14.906 --> 00:01:15.915
my God, I

00:01:15.956 --> 00:01:18.036
I don't know what the fuck he's talking about.

00:01:18.146 --> 00:01:19.995
idea what's happening right now.

00:01:20.335 --> 00:01:21.335
I need an adult.

00:01:21.623 --> 00:01:23.963
Sorry, I'm just feeling a little under the weather.

00:01:24.373 --> 00:01:27.343
I was bitten by a wild Hannah this morning.

00:01:28.106 --> 00:01:30.117
Practically woke me from the dead.

00:01:31.614 --> 00:01:34.935
Brett, I don't know what you want me to do with all of this.

00:01:35.215 --> 00:01:37.435
Because this is just ridiculous.

00:01:37.926 --> 00:01:41.206
I have brought you the items you described, Master.

00:01:41.623 --> 00:01:45.673
a magic wand that vibrates when you plug it into the wall.

00:01:45.996 --> 00:01:48.177
As you've commanded of me, Master.

00:01:48.231 --> 00:01:50.822
need to keep your personal information to yourself.

00:01:51.162 --> 00:01:53.772
But you told me these things, Master.

00:01:54.072 --> 00:01:58.591
You make me your footstool at night, as you recall, for your bunions.

00:01:59.043 --> 00:02:01.063
I'm questioning all of my life choices.

00:02:02.414 --> 00:02:09.014
all of our life choices as the Pokeball turns.

00:03:20.639 --> 00:03:25.908
Welcome to As the Pokeball Turns, where we interview people about their experience with Pokemon.

00:03:26.199 --> 00:03:33.538
My name is David Hernandez, today we are joined back from the dead, after Darkrai.

00:03:34.049 --> 00:03:35.128
Welcome back, from the

00:03:35.258 --> 00:03:39.438
David Hernandez, we have come for thee.

00:03:39.658 --> 00:03:43.109
The ghosts of your past, present, and future.

00:03:44.158 --> 00:03:45.859
And he has regretted all of his

00:03:46.008 --> 00:03:49.579
Woe is your decision to have us on your show today.

00:03:49.579 --> 00:03:54.679
We will show you the error of your ways, and you will go, You there, child! What day is it?

00:03:54.709 --> 00:04:05.764
And they'll say, Well, it's Christmas, sir! And then I'll be like, No, it's actually Halloween! Trick or treat! And then you'll know the true meaning of New Year's Day.

00:04:06.391 --> 00:04:12.015
look, unfortunately, I, sacrifice a couple slowpokes, I sacrificed a couple Pokemon to get y'all guys here.

00:04:12.506 --> 00:04:16.086
You know, I'm hopin that I'm good with the Arceus and the Dragiratina's

00:04:16.790 --> 00:04:18.511
I think they got lost in the mail.

00:04:19.105 --> 00:04:19.836
Oh my gosh, I

00:04:20.271 --> 00:04:21.120
refrigerate them?

00:04:21.728 --> 00:04:22.848
I was supposed to refrigerate those?

00:04:23.553 --> 00:04:23.944
I mean,

00:04:24.158 --> 00:04:25.119
Dry ice.

00:04:25.711 --> 00:04:26.252
let's try

00:04:26.447 --> 00:04:27.896
It's ice that's dry.

00:04:28.617 --> 00:04:30.367
Like my wit.

00:04:31.362 --> 00:04:31.812
Oh my

00:04:32.007 --> 00:04:32.396
I don't know.

00:04:32.396 --> 00:04:33.557
I don't know.

00:04:33.586 --> 00:04:34.026
Cut that.

00:04:34.057 --> 00:04:36.076
I'm not dry or witty.

00:04:36.567 --> 00:04:37.047
I always call

00:04:37.101 --> 00:04:47.716
Well, let me ask you this So well, let me ask you this So y'all know y'all have a hundred million listeners and earning more than five million dollars a year Was it difficult to for y'all to come back from the dead?

00:04:48.382 --> 00:04:57.317
Considering that we left instructions after our departure to our dear cult members, uh, as a means of resurrection, They didn't do a very good job.

00:04:57.317 --> 00:05:00.603
when we first came back, our voices were very hoarse sounding.

00:05:01.043 --> 00:05:04.343
And, for some reason, Hannah had a water bottle down her throat.

00:05:04.793 --> 00:05:06.713
We are not even gonna ask questions about that.

00:05:06.713 --> 00:05:08.514
But we're starting an internal investigation.

00:05:08.966 --> 00:05:11.166
there was pictures of my feet on OnlyFans.

00:05:11.187 --> 00:05:13.607
We don't know exactly what went on while we were gone.

00:05:14.016 --> 00:05:15.401
But, some stuff went down.

00:05:15.411 --> 00:05:16.571
But, yeah, we're back now.

00:05:16.985 --> 00:05:19.346
Brett enjoyed his OnlyFans experience.

00:05:19.636 --> 00:05:22.985
Don't, don't make it sound like that that was an accident.

00:05:23.170 --> 00:05:29.461
yeah, we have 500 million listeners, like you said, but not a single one of them, downloaded a single episode.

00:05:29.461 --> 00:05:33.680
So they're, they're all subscribers, but no, but no, all subscribers, no downloads.

00:05:34.521 --> 00:05:36.471
No, no, no listener engagement.

00:05:37.084 --> 00:05:39.394
Is that why I see the white hand on your right shoulder?

00:05:39.834 --> 00:05:40.973
Actually, I did get engaged.

00:05:40.973 --> 00:05:42.694
You see the, the ring on my finger here?

00:05:42.874 --> 00:05:45.783
I got engaged to our, our audience, our fans.

00:05:45.814 --> 00:05:51.713
Yeah, I, this is a solemn promise to them that I'll never leave them even when they ask me to.

00:05:52.281 --> 00:05:52.810
they have.

00:05:57.870 --> 00:05:59.230
but what does it like to kind of come back?

00:05:59.230 --> 00:06:00.230
Cause y'all took a hiatus.

00:06:00.230 --> 00:06:02.701
You know, what are you looking forward to just as for after dark, right?

00:06:02.701 --> 00:06:03.591
You know, you're back.

00:06:03.651 --> 00:06:04.261
Uh,

00:06:04.678 --> 00:06:04.968
I don't know.

00:06:04.999 --> 00:06:08.685
I'm looking forward to just actually engaging more with our fan base.

00:06:08.685 --> 00:06:14.906
We had a voicemail that we listened to, so it was nice actually hearing some positive feedback.

00:06:15.081 --> 00:06:17.221
We had a voicemail, uh.

00:06:19.050 --> 00:06:22.261
I know, you've never seen two people so happy to get

00:06:22.266 --> 00:06:24.005
a, voicemail.

00:06:24.091 --> 00:06:26.300
fucking voicemail machine.

00:06:26.336 --> 00:06:27.886
It was it was exciting.

00:06:28.115 --> 00:06:38.028
Um, so it did like kind of essentially light a proverbial fire And, hey hanging out with Brett has been fun.

00:06:39.244 --> 00:06:40.283
lying, 100%.

00:06:41.004 --> 00:06:41.713
You, you, I know

00:06:41.829 --> 00:06:42.509
Oh, you're

00:06:42.553 --> 00:06:45.103
like wired lie detector tests for celebrities.

00:06:45.129 --> 00:06:46.149
see the, gun on her head.

00:06:46.283 --> 00:06:47.673
the, there is a gun at her

00:06:47.798 --> 00:06:48.699
Yeah, somebody right

00:06:48.983 --> 00:06:50.033
come over there to do that.

00:06:50.033 --> 00:06:50.403
Yeah.

00:06:50.923 --> 00:07:04.627
so it was fun when we did it the first go round and then had some personal things come up and Some medical things come up and unfortunately, I had to take a step take a step back and

00:07:04.697 --> 00:07:07.963
you were gone for longer than like even before we did the hiatus.

00:07:07.963 --> 00:07:11.374
Wouldn't mean Gracie did the hiatus, but you're back now.

00:07:11.584 --> 00:07:11.944
I am

00:07:12.213 --> 00:07:14.673
She's back to atone for her sins.

00:07:15.293 --> 00:07:24.076
She's reclaimed her chair for the dark Pokemon gods, and casting out her screams across the airwaves for all to behold.

00:07:24.786 --> 00:07:25.146
Yes,

00:07:25.447 --> 00:07:26.766
he is correct.

00:07:26.766 --> 00:07:26.916
No,

00:07:26.976 --> 00:07:29.666
so Brett basically strong armed me and

00:07:29.997 --> 00:07:31.557
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

00:07:31.557 --> 00:07:32.896
I begged her.

00:07:32.906 --> 00:07:33.206
There's a

00:07:33.547 --> 00:07:33.737
yeah

00:07:33.757 --> 00:07:35.857
There's a difference between strong arm and begging.

00:07:36.461 --> 00:07:37.242
He pleaded.

00:07:37.242 --> 00:07:40.901
He got on down on two knees and threatened to jump off a bridge if he didn't come

00:07:40.947 --> 00:07:59.661
Uh, look, I felt so guilty, cause like, when we last left off, last time, on After Dark Rye, it was like Christmas, and we're like, hey, you know, we tried this Patreon thing, it didn't work out for us, we're gonna take a step back, the content, we're Onslaught like was a real burnout, man.

00:07:59.670 --> 00:08:00.471
Like it was hard.

00:08:00.911 --> 00:08:04.211
and then so we're like, okay, we're going to go back to like twice a month or whatever.

00:08:04.620 --> 00:08:06.331
and this will keep help keep us fresh.

00:08:06.350 --> 00:08:10.940
And then we said that and then we disappeared for like 8 months.

00:08:11.257 --> 00:08:19.166
So, I'd feel really guilty about that, and occasionally I'd poke a bear and be like, Hey, you wanna maybe, uh, come back and do a Pokemon podcast?

00:08:19.166 --> 00:08:21.687
And eventually, and eventually, she said yes.

00:08:22.011 --> 00:08:22.901
That's not from

00:08:22.995 --> 00:08:24.235
yeah, that's that's not

00:08:24.271 --> 00:08:25.860
Yeah, just to be clear, dear listener.

00:08:26.860 --> 00:08:27.680
Or is it?

00:08:27.980 --> 00:08:28.560
Dun dun.

00:08:28.610 --> 00:08:29.240
dun.

00:08:29.240 --> 00:08:29.552
Ha

00:08:29.740 --> 00:08:31.951
That's not, it wouldn't be the first time someone thought that about us.

00:08:33.510 --> 00:08:36.279
She just, don't let her fool you, she took hers and pawned it.

00:08:36.620 --> 00:08:41.240
She said, Cash, she said, Cash is king, baby, and love

00:08:41.270 --> 00:08:43.880
We had to sacrifice something to bring you guys back, though.

00:08:43.880 --> 00:08:44.821
So that's probably why.

00:08:44.860 --> 00:08:45.421
Because she didn't have the

00:08:45.576 --> 00:08:45.936
Yeah,

00:08:46.421 --> 00:08:47.100
The ring?

00:08:47.610 --> 00:08:48.341
Oh,

00:08:48.375 --> 00:08:48.985
one ring?

00:08:48.985 --> 00:08:49.966
to roll them all

00:08:50.071 --> 00:08:53.370
Oh, or the ring, you watch that videotape, and Sadako comes.

00:08:53.451 --> 00:08:55.081
She couldn't make it, by the way, but she says hi.

00:08:55.532 --> 00:08:55.731
hi.

00:08:55.731 --> 00:08:56.231
mom

00:08:56.336 --> 00:08:58.927
telling you, it always comes back to the ring.

00:08:59.216 --> 00:08:59.706
Hi, mom.

00:09:00.057 --> 00:09:00.567
my mom.

00:09:00.606 --> 00:09:01.447
Not your mom, David.

00:09:01.647 --> 00:09:04.076
Uh, although, uh, Oh, I apologize.

00:09:04.437 --> 00:09:04.846
Uh,

00:09:04.996 --> 00:09:05.187
okay.

00:09:05.187 --> 00:09:05.687
I don't miss her.

00:09:06.157 --> 00:09:06.356
jeez.

00:09:06.476 --> 00:09:11.687
just suck all their out of the room out.

00:09:11.716 --> 00:09:12.876
Mom, I miss you.

00:09:13.027 --> 00:09:15.116
Uh, I know you're still alive.

00:09:15.573 --> 00:09:15.903
hi.

00:09:16.004 --> 00:09:16.043
right.

00:09:16.083 --> 00:09:16.453
Is she,

00:09:16.553 --> 00:09:16.953
Yeah.

00:09:17.504 --> 00:09:19.673
I had to sacrifice somebody from your family to bring out

00:09:19.764 --> 00:09:20.364
my mama.

00:09:20.374 --> 00:09:20.943
My mama.

00:09:20.953 --> 00:09:21.823
Fuck you up.

00:09:22.524 --> 00:09:23.153
oh, damn.

00:09:23.153 --> 00:09:23.423
Okay.

00:09:23.423 --> 00:09:23.994
She don't play.

00:09:24.514 --> 00:09:25.193
player, man.

00:09:25.193 --> 00:09:26.918
She'll run over you to go catch a Pidgey.

00:09:27.339 --> 00:09:28.078
She don't care.

00:09:28.490 --> 00:09:29.020
Oh, dang.

00:09:29.346 --> 00:09:30.495
yeah, we're back.

00:09:30.535 --> 00:09:32.245
We're, we're, we're here.

00:09:32.265 --> 00:09:33.816
We're louder than ever.

00:09:33.816 --> 00:09:35.306
And, oh boy.

00:09:35.510 --> 00:09:36.260
than ever.

00:09:36.260 --> 00:09:38.000
Oh,

00:09:38.586 --> 00:09:40.306
Here we are, screaming into the void.

00:09:41.035 --> 00:09:41.125
Ahhhh!

00:09:44.750 --> 00:09:48.801
well on that note, so, you know, I was my podcast and we're going to talk about a lot of Pokemon.

00:09:49.416 --> 00:09:51.086
But I want to ask this question to start it

00:09:51.395 --> 00:09:52.515
Are we actually married?

00:09:52.515 --> 00:09:52.926
No.

00:09:53.265 --> 00:09:54.105
Not literally.

00:09:54.706 --> 00:09:55.936
Figuratively, yes.

00:09:56.456 --> 00:09:56.875
I know.

00:09:57.936 --> 00:09:58.485
Podcast

00:09:58.831 --> 00:10:00.091
Let's move on.

00:10:00.471 --> 00:10:01.000
Let's talk about

00:10:01.155 --> 00:10:03.875
Podcast co hosts, can't live with them?

00:10:04.211 --> 00:10:05.081
Can't live without them.

00:10:06.251 --> 00:10:07.361
It must be nice to have a co host though.

00:10:07.371 --> 00:10:09.932
I only have two dogs, but anyway, but Brett,

00:10:10.297 --> 00:10:11.177
Dogs are better.

00:10:11.182 --> 00:10:13.231
you, They are their

00:10:13.341 --> 00:10:14.032
We all agree.

00:10:14.871 --> 00:10:15.261
So Brett,

00:10:15.261 --> 00:10:17.591
podcasts and just do dog podcasts.

00:10:18.022 --> 00:10:20.501
So my favorite breed is a mix.

00:10:21.022 --> 00:10:28.432
Uh, literally, because it's the best of all worlds, and they need homes, most of them need homes from shelters, so go adopt, don't shop.

00:10:29.302 --> 00:10:30.062
Please do.

00:10:30.131 --> 00:10:30.851
Yes.

00:10:31.417 --> 00:10:36.787
Or if you're like me, we just get them off the street, homeless animals off the street and then end up falling in love with them and keeping them.

00:10:37.912 --> 00:10:38.461
Oh my gosh.

00:10:38.461 --> 00:10:39.201
I wish I could do that.

00:10:39.302 --> 00:10:43.381
Otherwise he kicked out of my apartment or my abode.

00:10:43.567 --> 00:10:46.057
Your cave from which you dwell.

00:10:47.147 --> 00:10:51.777
I know you're back there iron manning a suit of podcast armor ready to burst

00:10:52.042 --> 00:10:55.032
I was, uh, I was doing a fleshlight, but okay.

00:10:57.817 --> 00:10:59.557
Hey, look, my hands are above the table Hannah.

00:10:59.947 --> 00:11:00.817
Don't look at me.

00:11:01.096 --> 00:11:05.927
We're on different screens Hannah We are not in the same room right now I know you she gave us a very

00:11:05.991 --> 00:11:07.841
he's right behind me in a different room.

00:11:07.996 --> 00:11:10.537
look and it looked like it was looking at me So I just wanted to

00:11:10.586 --> 00:11:11.287
Here's the thing, Hannah.

00:11:11.287 --> 00:11:12.616
He's right in the room right near us.

00:11:12.767 --> 00:11:14.897
look here's my hands and my feet.

00:11:14.907 --> 00:11:16.067
They're not currently

00:11:16.167 --> 00:11:17.667
How do you think he got the ring, Hannah?

00:11:18.086 --> 00:11:18.326
oh

00:11:18.376 --> 00:11:19.527
Think about it, Hannah.

00:11:20.427 --> 00:11:21.616
How do you think he got the ring?

00:11:21.836 --> 00:11:22.876
It would make sense.

00:11:23.561 --> 00:11:24.221
Don't forget, Brett.

00:11:24.431 --> 00:11:26.640
I'm due for a good time after this episode, okay?

00:11:27.244 --> 00:11:30.394
what were you about to ask us before we started talking about dogs?

00:11:31.241 --> 00:11:32.001
Oh yeah.

00:11:32.062 --> 00:11:35.491
Hannah, if you're going to kill Brett with six Pokemon, how would you do

00:11:35.631 --> 00:11:36.272
with, six?

00:11:36.322 --> 00:11:37.211
I get six of them?

00:11:37.591 --> 00:11:38.341
with sex?

00:11:38.341 --> 00:11:39.331
Pokemon or sick?

00:11:39.331 --> 00:11:39.902
Pokemon

00:11:40.451 --> 00:11:41.221
Six Pokemon.

00:11:41.361 --> 00:11:42.101
Pokemon.

00:11:42.292 --> 00:11:43.072
Six.

00:11:43.192 --> 00:11:43.912
Sex.

00:11:44.261 --> 00:11:44.951
Sick.

00:11:45.172 --> 00:11:45.782
Okay.

00:11:45.831 --> 00:11:46.211
me rephrase the

00:11:46.371 --> 00:11:46.731
Sick.

00:11:46.731 --> 00:11:46.971
Sick.

00:11:46.971 --> 00:11:47.392
Six.

00:11:47.392 --> 00:11:49.741
get, if you're, if you're going to kill Brett with Pokemon.

00:11:50.216 --> 00:11:50.947
How would you do it?

00:11:51.111 --> 00:11:51.562
Okay.

00:11:51.721 --> 00:11:52.971
First I get Ditto.

00:11:53.876 --> 00:11:55.537
You don't have to use like a six speed, you can use whatever.

00:11:57.647 --> 00:11:58.067
dittos.

00:11:58.067 --> 00:11:59.631
The, the, the Hony Pokemon.

00:11:59.631 --> 00:11:59.932
That's when

00:11:59.981 --> 00:12:01.611
Yeah, I get Ditto.

00:12:02.451 --> 00:12:04.226
And she could turn into a hot chick like in the movie.

00:12:05.297 --> 00:12:05.897
Remember?

00:12:06.052 --> 00:12:06.532
that's not

00:12:06.537 --> 00:12:07.626
Detective Pikachu?

00:12:08.101 --> 00:12:09.491
Oh, and you know

00:12:09.626 --> 00:12:12.167
You know that old dude in the wheelchair was bangin his ditto.

00:12:14.522 --> 00:12:17.111
And I'm gonna give you your favorite one.

00:12:17.272 --> 00:12:18.351
You get Jinx.

00:12:18.926 --> 00:12:20.995
Okay, she smiles like a donut, I guess.

00:12:22.025 --> 00:12:24.035
Is it, is it Death by Snoo Snoo?

00:12:24.035 --> 00:12:24.735
What's happening?

00:12:25.331 --> 00:12:25.860
Um,

00:12:25.885 --> 00:12:26.495
Pokemon snooze

00:12:26.681 --> 00:12:28.561
no, it's just gonna haunt you forever.

00:12:28.775 --> 00:12:30.096
Death, Death by Swablu.

00:12:30.948 --> 00:12:31.339
let's see.

00:12:31.369 --> 00:12:31.509
So

00:12:31.563 --> 00:12:32.854
Thanks, thanks Hannah.

00:12:33.168 --> 00:12:34.038
what's the sword

00:12:34.163 --> 00:12:37.844
Can you, this is just, this is just, can Hannah name six Pokemon?

00:12:40.168 --> 00:12:42.438
Yeah, I'm like terrible with naming them.

00:12:42.785 --> 00:12:46.015
Pikachu, Abra, you just do the rap in your, in your

00:12:46.211 --> 00:12:47.350
what, what's the sword

00:12:47.681 --> 00:12:48.390
Squirtle, Kadabra,

00:12:48.655 --> 00:12:49.216
which one?

00:12:49.216 --> 00:12:49.936
There's a couple of them.

00:12:50.431 --> 00:12:51.191
Yeah, Honedge.

00:12:51.201 --> 00:12:51.711
That's it.

00:12:52.556 --> 00:12:53.186
She's honing on

00:12:53.240 --> 00:12:54.000
Aegislash.

00:12:54.000 --> 00:12:55.260
LIVING ON

00:12:55.635 --> 00:12:56.346
Let's see.

00:12:57.655 --> 00:12:57.966
I don't know.

00:12:58.914 --> 00:13:03.355
I don't know why I want to throw Klefki in there because we're gonna lock you up somewhere

00:13:03.539 --> 00:13:04.620
I hate Clefky as well,

00:13:05.024 --> 00:13:08.044
Yes, and because you hate Klefki.

00:13:08.229 --> 00:13:10.239
you must have known that subconsciously, because

00:13:10.374 --> 00:13:10.754
Oh, no.

00:13:10.754 --> 00:13:12.153
I know you hate Klefki.

00:13:12.774 --> 00:13:13.114
That's why

00:13:13.139 --> 00:13:14.798
think a lot of people hate Clefky.

00:13:15.075 --> 00:13:16.664
I know you don't like Slowbro.

00:13:17.455 --> 00:13:18.365
do, I do like Slowbro.

00:13:18.365 --> 00:13:18.715
What are you talking

00:13:18.975 --> 00:13:19.514
Oh, you do?

00:13:19.575 --> 00:13:19.985
Okay.

00:13:20.544 --> 00:13:22.504
Well, Slowbro.

00:13:23.264 --> 00:13:24.495
That was the pre Darkrai.

00:13:25.335 --> 00:13:25.904
is

00:13:26.134 --> 00:13:27.174
to all of us, you know.

00:13:27.235 --> 00:13:29.394
Especially when you're young and inexperienced, you know.

00:13:29.394 --> 00:13:32.024
You shouldn't be ashamed of a little bit of pre after Darkrai.

00:13:32.024 --> 00:13:33.884
Hehehehe.

00:13:34.445 --> 00:13:37.450
Bros gonna be one to help.

00:13:38.075 --> 00:13:38.955
But why?

00:13:39.059 --> 00:13:39.460
you.

00:13:39.764 --> 00:13:41.054
What, is he gonna sit on me?

00:13:41.437 --> 00:13:41.736
Yeah,

00:13:41.751 --> 00:13:43.532
gonna, dude, where's my car meet a death?

00:13:43.586 --> 00:13:45.006
Is

00:13:45.450 --> 00:13:49.513
And then, what's the one that we did that had the pheasant thing?

00:13:50.052 --> 00:13:51.472
That had the nipple rings?

00:13:51.942 --> 00:13:52.342
Yeah,

00:13:52.957 --> 00:13:54.217
Oh, Venzapita.

00:13:54.298 --> 00:13:54.687
Yeah.

00:13:55.413 --> 00:13:56.743
That's just a meal.

00:13:57.113 --> 00:13:59.602
That's just a KFC bucket just waiting to happen.

00:14:00.013 --> 00:14:01.253
So I'm gonna choke on a bone.

00:14:01.854 --> 00:14:04.404
I want that secret seasoning, baby.

00:14:04.721 --> 00:14:05.541
Was that six?

00:14:05.821 --> 00:14:07.311
We're not a show about math.

00:14:07.321 --> 00:14:09.071
Like, don't ask us to do numbers.

00:14:09.855 --> 00:14:13.495
Yeah, if we got it wrong, then just send an email to Brett

00:14:13.591 --> 00:14:17.370
check our episodes, like the episode numbers, and it is bad.

00:14:17.400 --> 00:14:18.801
It is all over the place.

00:14:18.801 --> 00:14:23.297
Like, We didn't do episode 4 like a normal podcaster would.

00:14:23.297 --> 00:14:26.956
We did whatever the Pokemon we did for that episode, that was the episode number.

00:14:26.956 --> 00:14:34.086
So if it was like, I don't know, Mewtwo episode, that'd be episode 151, even though we've only done like 10 episodes or something like it.

00:14:34.268 --> 00:14:36.298
Although, I stopped doing that with season 2.

00:14:37.187 --> 00:14:38.738
We are doing 1, 2, 3, 4.

00:14:38.738 --> 00:14:39.577
And yes, I

00:14:39.692 --> 00:14:40.993
but it's more fun when you get it out of

00:14:41.057 --> 00:14:42.668
AI, uh,

00:14:42.682 --> 00:14:43.753
did you do that, Brett?

00:14:43.952 --> 00:14:44.222
Cause

00:14:44.222 --> 00:14:46.312
mean, I can turn it back if you want me to.

00:14:46.312 --> 00:14:57.033
Do you know how hard it is when someone asks you how many episodes of your show you're on, and you're like, I guess 4, 000, because the highest number on the episodes is that?

00:14:57.822 --> 00:14:58.923
Dude, you have it easier.

00:14:58.923 --> 00:15:03.123
You can just spin the wheel and be like, Oh, we're on episode, uh, we just did three episodes.

00:15:03.523 --> 00:15:13.673
I do secretly someday, like, when we complete the Pokédex, and a gun to the back of this podcast's head, pull the trigger, and someone goes over and investigates the corpse.

00:15:14.062 --> 00:15:19.986
They, I want them to listen to the show in the order of the Pokédex, just for the sheer insanity of it.

00:15:19.986 --> 00:15:20.201
You

00:15:20.942 --> 00:15:21.981
That'd be hilarious.

00:15:21.991 --> 00:15:22.572
See, that's what I'm saying.

00:15:22.581 --> 00:15:23.201
You're missing out.

00:15:23.201 --> 00:15:24.711
You gotta go back to your roots.

00:15:25.042 --> 00:15:29.381
will complete that dream for me after I'm dead and they want to hear my voice for some reason.

00:15:29.412 --> 00:15:30.341
But let's be honest, they won't.

00:15:30.341 --> 00:15:33.991
They have no desire whatsoever.

00:15:34.922 --> 00:15:35.961
What about you, Brett?

00:15:36.022 --> 00:15:37.451
What six Pokemon would you select?

00:15:37.631 --> 00:15:38.331
Or what Pokemon would

00:15:38.432 --> 00:15:40.501
What six Pokemon would I slut?

00:15:41.044 --> 00:15:42.174
They're gonna make me some money.

00:15:42.625 --> 00:15:44.715
Uh, well, I wouldn't kill Hannah at all.

00:15:44.725 --> 00:15:50.942
She's a treasured and dear friend and I truly value her and I care very deeply about her.

00:15:50.942 --> 00:15:51.993
So I wouldn't do that at all.

00:15:52.373 --> 00:15:55.883
I would choose her six Pokemon to be her companions.

00:15:55.913 --> 00:15:57.383
Uh, Houndoom.

00:15:57.727 --> 00:15:59.258
Uh, what's pre Houndoom?

00:15:59.618 --> 00:16:00.148
Uh,

00:16:00.383 --> 00:16:00.822
Daur

00:16:00.947 --> 00:16:02.827
Houndour, we'll give her one of those.

00:16:03.148 --> 00:16:06.333
Uh, we'll give her, uh, Bagel Dog.

00:16:06.803 --> 00:16:09.484
We'll give her, uh,

00:16:09.884 --> 00:16:10.943
that's not fair.

00:16:11.203 --> 00:16:12.474
You're not playing the game

00:16:12.553 --> 00:16:14.153
giving her, all the dogs.

00:16:14.484 --> 00:16:16.614
And she'll just be the happiest person ever.

00:16:16.614 --> 00:16:17.474
And I'll give her one cat.

00:16:17.504 --> 00:16:19.653
I'll give her a Litten in there because I know she likes cats too.

00:16:19.653 --> 00:16:22.244
So five dogs and a cat, and that's what she's getting.

00:16:22.423 --> 00:16:23.884
And she can cuddle up at night with them all.

00:16:24.249 --> 00:16:26.019
And be a happy little princess.

00:16:27.489 --> 00:16:38.339
That way No, no, no! No, don't boo me! This is the ultimate This is the ultimate mindfuck, because after she's murdered me, and then realizes how I did such a nice thing for her, she can feel guilty with it and carry it to her

00:16:38.553 --> 00:16:39.813
No, I won't feel guilty.

00:16:40.048 --> 00:16:40.818
Mm hmm.

00:16:41.339 --> 00:16:44.109
She'll probably just use your corpse remains for something else.

00:16:44.567 --> 00:16:44.888
Nope.

00:16:45.048 --> 00:16:45.798
Jinx is just

00:16:45.942 --> 00:16:48.222
I am not so easy to pit against my co host.

00:16:48.222 --> 00:16:50.493
We are a united front butt.

00:16:50.903 --> 00:16:52.133
United front butt.

00:16:52.707 --> 00:16:54.998
I literally had Kev Klefki kill you.

00:16:55.008 --> 00:16:55.878
So, like,

00:16:57.207 --> 00:17:03.878
You should have thought about that before, you should have, you should have gone back in time and changed your answer, but now it's too late, now we know.

00:17:04.482 --> 00:17:05.752
I followed the rules.

00:17:06.093 --> 00:17:06.333
I don't

00:17:06.363 --> 00:17:07.923
I follow my heart,

00:17:08.553 --> 00:17:09.282
Oh, Jesus.

00:17:10.053 --> 00:17:12.042
and I, cause I have the heart of the cards.

00:17:12.363 --> 00:17:13.752
No, because you're a kiss ass.

00:17:13.883 --> 00:17:16.982
banish you to the shadows realm, keep it up buddy.

00:17:21.347 --> 00:17:26.468
Well, Brett, since you know so much about Pokemon, can you tell us what were your first experiences with the franchise?

00:17:26.702 --> 00:17:30.972
Uh, nothing special, I was a little boy when Pokemon came out, because I'm very old.

00:17:31.306 --> 00:17:34.066
and I actually, I remember, how old am I now?

00:17:34.226 --> 00:17:35.476
He's 52.

00:17:36.230 --> 00:17:36.780
sir.

00:17:36.810 --> 00:17:38.151
Sir, that is classified.

00:17:38.557 --> 00:17:43.847
as you know, as you can see, I have a lot of tattoos, and you're not allowed to get a tattoo once you're over a certain age.

00:17:43.847 --> 00:17:45.938
Like, you're just not allowed, you're not cool enough anymore.

00:17:46.178 --> 00:17:49.387
And I have officially become invisible to all women under the age of 30.

00:17:49.778 --> 00:17:53.194
So, uh, I'm somewhere there in that realm.

00:17:53.488 --> 00:18:02.305
my earliest memory is I remember seeing that original like, commercial for Pokemon, where it's like the kid gets on the bus to go to school and like hanging out at the bus or like all the Pokemon.

00:18:02.305 --> 00:18:03.325
And I'm like, oh cool.

00:18:03.325 --> 00:18:03.984
What's that?

00:18:04.333 --> 00:18:10.131
and then eventually, you know, other kids at school had it as well and I eventually got Pokemon, uh, blue.

00:18:10.221 --> 00:18:10.820
Was it blue?

00:18:11.104 --> 00:18:13.096
I think I had Pokemon Blue and That's it.

00:18:13.097 --> 00:18:14.076
That's it.

00:18:14.076 --> 00:18:16.416
That started the, the lifelong problem.

00:18:17.027 --> 00:18:18.446
And that's my story.

00:18:18.676 --> 00:18:19.037
my story.

00:18:19.037 --> 00:18:20.366
Look, I said it's nothing special.

00:18:20.366 --> 00:18:35.288
I'm just like, 99 percent of these other guys over 30, they, they were kids, they played the game, they played it with their friends, and, and then at a certain point in your adult life, it kinda goes away, and then Pokemon Go just, just grabs you by the back of your hair, and Yes Daddy brings you right back into it.

00:18:37.603 --> 00:18:38.042
What about

00:18:38.113 --> 00:18:39.732
Yeah, tell us we're wrong.

00:18:39.972 --> 00:18:41.073
Say yes, daddy.

00:18:41.073 --> 00:18:42.317
That's how,

00:18:42.317 --> 00:18:52.748
my cousin, well my brother and my cousin, more, more of the game players than I was, but I played Gameboy somewhat, like I had a Gameboy Color.

00:18:53.048 --> 00:18:55.057
My first Pokemon game was

00:18:55.232 --> 00:18:56.573
young you know she is.

00:18:56.603 --> 00:19:09.393
But my first Pokemon game was game was Pokemon Yellow, and I have a picture of three of us sitting on the couch And we all have our Gameboys, and we have a copy of the Pokemon magazine sitting out so

00:19:09.924 --> 00:19:13.525
Back in my day, our game boys didn't even have color.

00:19:13.944 --> 00:19:18.174
I had a Gameboy that didn't have color either so

00:19:18.433 --> 00:19:23.683
Back in my day, you used to have to smack the top of the TV to look at a pair of pixelated boobs.

00:19:24.584 --> 00:19:27.653
my day, you had to blow in the garbage to make it work.

00:19:29.054 --> 00:19:31.153
Yeah, we had to do that quite a bit

00:19:31.453 --> 00:19:35.963
Did you ever use a GameShark to, like, catch hacked Pokemon in the original Pokemon games?

00:19:36.295 --> 00:19:37.914
Catch, like, MissingNo and stuff?

00:19:38.215 --> 00:19:38.665
I did.

00:19:38.990 --> 00:19:42.770
see I never, unfortunately I never really got into it too much,

00:19:42.885 --> 00:19:44.766
Ooh, we should do a MissingNo episode.

00:19:45.067 --> 00:19:45.488
Ooh,

00:19:45.897 --> 00:19:47.968
it doesn't, it's not an official Pokemon.

00:19:48.387 --> 00:19:52.178
It's never gonna show up on our randomizer, but we should do one some, someday.

00:19:52.516 --> 00:19:53.486
We could.

00:19:53.786 --> 00:19:54.365
Should?

00:19:55.066 --> 00:19:55.726
mm hmm,

00:19:55.740 --> 00:19:56.221
Could.

00:19:56.631 --> 00:19:58.330
Missing, what would that episode number be?

00:19:58.340 --> 00:19:58.980
Missing

00:20:00.145 --> 00:20:01.205
zero, zero,

00:20:01.211 --> 00:20:02.851
an easy, come on, that was an easy joke.

00:20:02.851 --> 00:20:03.201
I said, what

00:20:03.221 --> 00:20:03.691
No, because that's

00:20:03.980 --> 00:20:06.330
MissingNo's episode number would be?

00:20:06.865 --> 00:20:08.536
Missing, because it's missing.

00:20:08.746 --> 00:20:09.226
Never mind.

00:20:09.465 --> 00:20:09.976
We'll move on.

00:20:10.165 --> 00:20:11.326
Cut that from the record.

00:20:11.685 --> 00:20:26.230
But yeah, um and then you know, so I'm Stick to the original 151 and then they came out with more and they continuously come out with more and it's like, oh my god But of everything nerdy.

00:20:26.230 --> 00:20:30.414
So I'm enough to be dangerous

00:20:31.013 --> 00:20:31.544
Mmm,

00:20:31.739 --> 00:20:33.709
She can't drive 55.

00:20:34.102 --> 00:20:34.751
No

00:20:35.183 --> 00:20:36.213
Oh, you're a slow driver?

00:20:36.213 --> 00:20:36.278
Mm hmm.

00:20:36.759 --> 00:20:38.608
Oh, it's a reference to an 80s song.

00:20:39.269 --> 00:20:42.419
I can't drive 55

00:20:43.308 --> 00:20:44.449
I'm barely just turned 22.

00:20:44.459 --> 00:20:44.778
So

00:20:45.098 --> 00:20:46.269
Oh, you don't remember the 80s.

00:20:46.278 --> 00:20:46.969
Yeah, that's fine.

00:20:47.078 --> 00:20:47.898
You weren't born.

00:20:48.189 --> 00:20:54.884
You're probably probably can't even vote yet Make me sick Let's hear your woke opinion.

00:20:55.344 --> 00:20:59.104
Uh, even though you can't even reach the ballot box yet there, whippersnapper.

00:20:59.898 --> 00:21:00.378
I know, right.

00:21:00.378 --> 00:21:01.028
I'm hoping to grow.

00:21:01.028 --> 00:21:02.378
I got one more growth spread ahead of me.

00:21:03.483 --> 00:21:07.973
I got several growth spurts ahead of me tonight, if you get what I mean.

00:21:07.973 --> 00:21:11.513
Ayy, something's gonna grow, and then it's gonna spurt.

00:21:12.794 --> 00:21:14.534
faked that, by the way.

00:21:14.784 --> 00:21:16.733
She's licking her chomp right now.

00:21:16.854 --> 00:21:20.523
was, I can taste, I can taste the bile.

00:21:20.523 --> 00:21:20.864
She's like,

00:21:21.388 --> 00:21:23.219
Oh, it sounds like you've experienced it before.

00:21:25.523 --> 00:21:26.463
warmed up her feet.

00:21:26.969 --> 00:21:27.979
Real good for that one.

00:21:28.618 --> 00:21:31.128
think they call that foreplay anyway.

00:21:31.509 --> 00:21:33.858
So, you know, y'all originally started with gen one.

00:21:34.338 --> 00:21:41.189
So what was it about Pokemon that kind of interest you initially was just the fact that you had to catch thousands and thousands of creatures.

00:21:41.419 --> 00:21:44.808
Was it the fact that venture, like why stick with the franchise?

00:21:44.868 --> 00:21:45.239
Mm

00:21:45.689 --> 00:22:04.474
creature design initially for me, um, I just really like the idea of the pocketed monsters and I love their, well, I love most of their designs and I just thought it was fascinating that you could go into a different area of the map and find something new and it was just like a sense of discovery.

00:22:04.980 --> 00:22:16.737
It's still like that for the newer generation games, because as long as you're not spoiled, when you go into a new area and you see something running around the overworld or something, or if it's an older game that you just haven't played yet, you know what I'm trying to say.

00:22:16.789 --> 00:22:20.299
It's that Monster Design, love it, for the most part.

00:22:20.509 --> 00:22:25.579
Other than that, like, nothing else has quite hooked me as hard, I guess.

00:22:25.599 --> 00:22:32.410
Cause, cause a lot of the games are just kinda cut and dry the same, same thing over and over again until you get to some of the Switch entries.

00:22:32.990 --> 00:22:38.317
I guess, to me, also, a big part of it, you know, is the nostalgia factor.

00:22:38.317 --> 00:22:41.790
Like, you know, kind of just makes me think of the simpler days.

00:22:42.173 --> 00:22:43.282
Glory days.

00:22:44.428 --> 00:22:55.917
you know, just hanging out with my brother, my cousin, you know, we're just sitting in the living room, reading the magazines, trying to find the cheats to the little areas or, another thing I even forgot was.

00:22:56.373 --> 00:23:02.942
N64 playing Pokemon Snap, I know a lot of people like shit on that game, but I always thought that was fun.

00:23:02.982 --> 00:23:08.303
It was just relaxing going around and, cause like I said, I'm not very good at video games.

00:23:08.603 --> 00:23:12.496
I've just never really had the hand eye coordination with the video games.

00:23:12.536 --> 00:23:17.915
Um, if I'm trying to play like Call of Duty or, Gears of War.

00:23:18.228 --> 00:23:24.497
Like I'm trying to Defend myself and literally I get shot all the time because I'm just doing this everywhere

00:23:24.741 --> 00:23:27.271
And you know, in Gears of War, you're a bullet sponge.

00:23:27.271 --> 00:23:30.582
It takes a lot of bullets to down you, so, you must suck.

00:23:30.852 --> 00:23:32.432
Yeah, I'm not very good.

00:23:32.501 --> 00:23:34.741
I told you! I'm not very good

00:23:34.916 --> 00:23:37.916
My, you know what, uh, to make you feel better, Hannah, my time has passed.

00:23:37.916 --> 00:23:38.366
I'm fine.

00:23:38.366 --> 00:23:52.096
I'm at that age where like I used to be good at video games, but now as new video games come out, I realize how terrible I've become at video games and how much of an old man I am to the point where I'm like, I no longer want any challenge out of a video game.

00:23:52.156 --> 00:23:55.487
I want my handheld, I wanna respond immediately.

00:23:55.696 --> 00:23:56.717
I want infinite lives.

00:23:57.471 --> 00:24:02.731
Let me see the story and get to the end of the game so I can feel like I completed something in in three hours.

00:24:03.051 --> 00:24:05.751
Because if it's hard, I can't beat it.

00:24:06.355 --> 00:24:24.895
my big thing is Pokemon Go, if people really listen to the podcast, they're probably like, well, that, she's a, the basic white girl that does Pokemon Go, but it allows me to catch them all, per se, and then I get to go out, hang out with friends, and, Our group doesn't really get out as much as we used to.

00:24:24.905 --> 00:24:29.692
Like, we used to be all hardcore, gung ho, and every community day we were out.

00:24:29.721 --> 00:24:30.041
And

00:24:30.355 --> 00:24:31.336
Now everybody's busy.

00:24:32.286 --> 00:24:36.226
yeah, hopefully we'll get back to that at some point.

00:24:36.296 --> 00:24:36.846
Um,

00:24:36.955 --> 00:24:38.496
do like GoFest and stuff.

00:24:38.766 --> 00:24:39.496
yeah.

00:24:39.736 --> 00:24:40.395
unfortunately,

00:24:41.086 --> 00:24:43.686
So, you know, you talked about how y'all both play Pokemon Go.

00:24:44.017 --> 00:24:45.057
How did that part start out?

00:24:45.057 --> 00:24:50.467
Like, were y'all like day one players out there, like staying up all night or what was y'all's experience with that?

00:24:50.666 --> 00:24:53.164
So I was literally, day two.

00:24:53.201 --> 00:24:53.740
So yeah,

00:24:55.480 --> 00:25:03.142
I was a day one player, but I don't know how much I played on day 1 because like there were so many problems with the game

00:25:03.186 --> 00:25:04.176
oh yeah, like

00:25:04.251 --> 00:25:07.071
because so many people were trying to play it at the same time.

00:25:07.392 --> 00:25:08.672
It was hard to do anything.

00:25:09.011 --> 00:25:17.392
But as as that several days and first few weeks unfolded, like, it was impossible to not play where I was living at the time.

00:25:17.432 --> 00:25:18.461
I mean, there were just.

00:25:19.061 --> 00:25:23.842
Mobs of people everywhere walking around just playing Pokemon Go throughout the city.

00:25:24.172 --> 00:25:31.031
Like, you would think that there was gang violence at the park because there would just be tons of people dressed in blue and red and yellow.

00:25:31.261 --> 00:25:41.632
But they were all just standing around catching Pokemon going, Oh, there's a, there's a Bulbasaur over here! And then like 50 people would just sprint to the other side of the field to try and catch a damn Bulbasaur.

00:25:42.636 --> 00:25:43.537
It was crazy.

00:25:43.537 --> 00:25:52.287
It honestly, and everyone was having a great time, was having a wonderful time, and interacting with each other, and it truly felt like Pokemon, for a brief moment, could save the entire world.

00:25:52.657 --> 00:26:14.593
and that was truly incredible, and I don't think the game ever quite was able to Recapture that as time marches on right like sure people found dead bodies and And people did commit actual crimes by mugging people at pokestops like shit like that definitely happened but the the that initial feeling of Coming together was an incredible thing to be a part of.

00:26:14.893 --> 00:26:19.522
So yeah, I started day one, I joined team mystic because that's the best team.

00:26:19.952 --> 00:26:23.323
Um, everybody wants to be a little mystical if you know what I mean.

00:26:23.632 --> 00:26:29.451
nobody wants to be on team PP or whatever team time of the month is.

00:26:30.156 --> 00:26:30.386
Yeah.

00:26:31.096 --> 00:26:33.086
So yeah, join Team Mystical if you're not.

00:26:33.737 --> 00:26:34.767
Uh, that's the best team.

00:26:34.767 --> 00:26:35.196
Right, Hannah?

00:26:35.852 --> 00:26:36.291
Right.

00:26:38.116 --> 00:26:44.007
Uh, yeah, and then, uh, after a while you're like, hey, uh, we're funny when it comes to Pokemon.

00:26:44.027 --> 00:26:45.807
Maybe we, this could be a podcast.

00:26:46.196 --> 00:26:52.646
And then, Brett, in his basement somewhere is like, I wonder if people make Pokemon podcasts.

00:26:52.926 --> 00:26:54.477
Probably not, let's just do it.

00:26:55.078 --> 00:26:56.682
Yeah, that was unfortunate.

00:26:57.273 --> 00:26:58.574
Just kidding, I don't own a basement.

00:27:00.344 --> 00:27:01.173
you don't have a basement.

00:27:01.903 --> 00:27:02.614
Never had one.

00:27:02.888 --> 00:27:04.189
That's what he tells the feds.

00:27:04.943 --> 00:27:05.594
a crawlspace.

00:27:05.663 --> 00:27:07.084
I podcast from my crawlspace.

00:27:07.679 --> 00:27:09.699
You're a cupboard under the stairs.

00:27:10.138 --> 00:27:12.538
I'm very much the boy who lived, unfortunately.

00:27:12.804 --> 00:27:13.844
No, it's in his murder

00:27:13.878 --> 00:27:14.838
me out of my misery.

00:27:15.709 --> 00:27:17.388
I do have a big shed back there.

00:27:17.788 --> 00:27:19.358
No murders have occurred in there in several

00:27:19.594 --> 00:27:20.354
Murder shed.

00:27:20.809 --> 00:27:21.589
Oh, I just heard screaming.

00:27:21.650 --> 00:27:23.000
I heard a screaming voice though out there.

00:27:23.210 --> 00:27:23.329
You

00:27:23.599 --> 00:27:24.779
Yeah, I'm pretty sure.

00:27:24.990 --> 00:27:26.630
That's the ghost that haunts it.

00:27:27.535 --> 00:27:28.105
Oh,

00:27:28.150 --> 00:27:29.940
can leave, it just should be known.

00:27:29.960 --> 00:27:31.609
They can leave any time they want to.

00:27:31.640 --> 00:27:33.690
They just choose to not.

00:27:34.021 --> 00:27:34.781
Hmm.

00:27:34.977 --> 00:27:36.596
They just don't choose to tie the knot.

00:27:36.606 --> 00:27:37.297
That's what I'm saying.

00:27:37.297 --> 00:27:37.977
They won't marry me.

00:27:37.987 --> 00:27:39.067
And they just keep saying no.

00:27:39.067 --> 00:27:42.807
And I'm like, be gone ye phantom to the other worldly plane.

00:27:42.807 --> 00:27:44.477
And they're like, no, I'm not going to marry you.

00:27:44.477 --> 00:27:46.896
And I'm like, we're having two different conversations.

00:27:47.277 --> 00:27:50.267
I can't hear you over the spirit vortex.

00:27:50.865 --> 00:27:51.755
Oh, that's very cool.

00:27:51.755 --> 00:27:54.755
So if it wasn't for Pokemon go, you don't think you would have started after dark, right?

00:27:56.549 --> 00:27:57.109
not.

00:27:57.492 --> 00:28:01.803
I was doing a show called let's die the his versus hers guide to the apocalypse, the podcast.

00:28:02.403 --> 00:28:16.212
And that one is like, A different apocalyptic scenario with every episode, and we did do a Pokemon episode, and that was kind of the seed that would eventually become After Darkrai.

00:28:16.637 --> 00:28:19.670
and that seed exists there because of Pokemon Go.

00:28:20.089 --> 00:28:22.619
That's the whole reason, like, that episode exists, so.

00:28:23.279 --> 00:28:26.700
Yeah, without Pokemon Go, After Darkrai probably doesn't exist.

00:28:27.255 --> 00:28:36.121
Hannah, like, I mean, I mean, would we, without Pokemon Go, we wouldn't have done all those community events or, community days, I mean, is what I meant to say.

00:28:36.451 --> 00:28:39.090
Like, we wouldn't have done all those raid days together.

00:28:39.421 --> 00:28:42.570
We would not have hung out nearly as much as we would've still known each other.

00:28:42.805 --> 00:28:48.890
Yeah, we would've still known each other and like, I mean, we still would've, cause we ran together and stuff, I mean,

00:28:49.390 --> 00:28:50.950
yeah, in a gang, we ran in a

00:28:51.089 --> 00:28:55.910
yeah, we ran in a gang, but, but, yeah, and like, but, yeah.

00:28:55.910 --> 00:29:05.174
Meeting your mom and your sisters and your other friends that you've introduced me to, like, I mean, yeah, it's all because of Pokemon Go.

00:29:05.285 --> 00:29:05.724
So,

00:29:05.795 --> 00:29:12.194
real the reason we're here today turning the pokeball is because of pokemon go so thanks pokemon go.

00:29:40.419 --> 00:29:42.798
You talked about how Pokemon Go led to after Darkrai.

00:29:42.878 --> 00:29:46.465
What made you I know you talked about how like, oh, let's make a Pokemon podcast.

00:29:46.465 --> 00:29:50.519
Was there a specific kind of angle you're going before making after Darkrai?

00:29:50.528 --> 00:29:53.544
Like, What kind of show did you want it to be back when it first

00:29:53.628 --> 00:30:12.621
Okay, so, this is easy because we weren't gonna do, or I wasn't gonna do a show that's just like what everybody else does, you know, there's a, there's a thousand Pokemon podcasts that just resolve or revolve around like the news or current events in, in Pokemon, things like that, and that's fine, that's great.

00:30:13.490 --> 00:30:21.096
That's a lot of work that I didn't quite frankly didn't want to do so basically I'm lazy also as a young and unexperienced podcaster.

00:30:21.126 --> 00:30:29.895
I didn't know how to edit Podcasts easily for me to edit a podcast was really hard and really time consuming There was no easy like I was self taught.

00:30:30.195 --> 00:30:32.548
So I was like we're filthy mouthed.

00:30:32.778 --> 00:30:39.938
I'm not gonna be a I just I literally can't beep all these out if I wanted to so Why don't we just be the uncensored?

00:30:40.307 --> 00:30:44.837
adult comedy podcast because Also, I wanted it to be funny.

00:30:44.887 --> 00:30:50.416
Like there's no universe where if the show's not funny maybe we'll do a serious show as a gag.

00:30:50.711 --> 00:30:53.330
But it's got to be funny or else like what's the point?

00:30:53.675 --> 00:30:54.685
That's, that's pretty much it for me.

00:30:54.685 --> 00:31:04.273
Like, it's comedy first, our demographic is the people like us that grew up with Pokemon who are adults now and if they have kids and let their kids listen to the show, shame on them.

00:31:04.576 --> 00:31:11.096
and also that one kid that left a review on, on iTunes saying that they would get in trouble if their parents knew they were listening.

00:31:11.707 --> 00:31:14.366
Uh, that's, that person's also in our demographic.

00:31:14.366 --> 00:31:16.386
But by now they're, they're what, like two or three years older?

00:31:16.386 --> 00:31:17.146
They might be old enough.

00:31:17.416 --> 00:31:18.487
But also shame on you.

00:31:18.787 --> 00:31:19.737
Uh, go to your room.

00:31:20.031 --> 00:31:20.811
But not really.

00:31:20.852 --> 00:31:21.461
It's okay.

00:31:21.511 --> 00:31:22.311
We won't tell.

00:31:22.396 --> 00:31:23.977
yeah, so, so basically,

00:31:24.192 --> 00:31:25.981
We're the cool people.

00:31:26.017 --> 00:31:28.116
cool podcast, yeah,

00:31:28.192 --> 00:31:29.692
But no, this is strictly

00:31:29.876 --> 00:31:32.717
peer pressuring you to smoke except it's listening to our

00:31:33.162 --> 00:31:34.842
No, I don't condone that.

00:31:34.902 --> 00:31:35.791
That's terrible for

00:31:35.936 --> 00:31:42.227
I said it's like peer pressuring to have someone smoke when you smoke, but instead, it's a podcast instead of smoking.

00:31:42.291 --> 00:31:43.642
But smoking's terrible for you.

00:31:43.701 --> 00:31:44.011
I don't

00:31:44.207 --> 00:31:46.336
but Gracie, coughing and wheezing are Pokemon.

00:31:46.336 --> 00:31:46.906
They matter.

00:31:46.906 --> 00:31:48.227
So somebody's gotta promote

00:31:48.267 --> 00:31:52.487
smoking matters, Hannah, because Pokemon need it.

00:31:52.776 --> 00:31:54.016
That sweet herb.

00:31:54.321 --> 00:31:56.521
They've smoked that sweet, sweet Bellsprout.

00:31:57.413 --> 00:31:57.733
That's

00:31:57.993 --> 00:32:00.314
a, who wants a hit of that Oddish?

00:32:00.949 --> 00:32:02.959
That oddish man or that venosa, you know,

00:32:03.173 --> 00:32:06.124
man, this shit gonna make you weepin Bell, bruh.

00:32:06.124 --> 00:32:09.044
Like, you gotta take you some of that.

00:32:09.044 --> 00:32:10.153
Dunk, dunk, dunk.

00:32:12.324 --> 00:32:15.304
We're all about, uh, edibles nowadays, you know.

00:32:15.674 --> 00:32:19.025
I'd bake mine into a brownie and, and consume them.

00:32:19.347 --> 00:32:20.498
or I put them into my,

00:32:20.782 --> 00:32:21.624
I was gonna say, I, I

00:32:21.708 --> 00:32:24.397
or I'll put it into my Sinistea and drink that.

00:32:24.696 --> 00:32:25.267
The matcha,

00:32:25.501 --> 00:32:25.961
Yeah.

00:32:25.961 --> 00:32:27.422
Is there a Macha Pokemon?

00:32:27.987 --> 00:32:28.346
Yeah, there

00:32:28.362 --> 00:32:28.811
Well, what is

00:32:28.961 --> 00:32:29.832
Yeah, there is.

00:32:30.213 --> 00:32:31.394
Sinish Shah and

00:32:31.818 --> 00:32:33.878
Cinnamon Twist, Poltergeist,

00:32:34.394 --> 00:32:34.673
Yeah.

00:32:34.673 --> 00:32:35.173
That thing.

00:32:35.731 --> 00:32:37.612
Yeah, it's literally like a bowl of matcha.

00:32:38.811 --> 00:32:40.382
How do you, I don't know how to spell that.

00:32:40.717 --> 00:32:41.227
I can't even

00:32:41.291 --> 00:32:44.882
You know, we're not even gonna have an episode for that one just because I don't want to have to say its name.

00:32:46.561 --> 00:32:48.530
Oh, don't be such a buzzkill.

00:32:49.161 --> 00:32:54.921
Oh, we gotta get that guy on YouTube who does all the, how to say the names of Pokemon on our show someday.

00:32:54.921 --> 00:32:56.810
I'm too much of a coward to send him an email.

00:32:57.079 --> 00:32:58.079
Oh, just send him an email.

00:32:58.095 --> 00:32:59.115
It's scary.

00:32:59.934 --> 00:33:00.164
Or

00:33:00.174 --> 00:33:02.994
is this Nightmare P Pizza run.

00:33:03.049 --> 00:33:05.680
one guy on YouTube that says things wrong.

00:33:05.980 --> 00:33:07.460
Like, shrewd and fruity.

00:33:07.720 --> 00:33:08.910
A shrewd and a

00:33:09.035 --> 00:33:10.654
What the fuck are you talking about?

00:33:10.984 --> 00:33:14.704
Are you talking about the guy that does like the countdowns number 10?

00:33:15.154 --> 00:33:22.535
The whale Lord Pokemon is the biggest Pokemon that there is, number nine.

00:33:22.775 --> 00:33:27.994
Sharpedo is a terrifying predator that also lives in the

00:33:28.339 --> 00:33:29.710
I have no idea what

00:33:29.805 --> 00:33:30.684
You don't know what I'm talking about?

00:33:30.724 --> 00:33:34.365
Okay, well the people that are listening that know what I'm talking about, know what I'm talking about.

00:33:34.969 --> 00:33:35.388
Okay.

00:33:35.568 --> 00:33:35.739
We'll

00:33:35.753 --> 00:33:36.284
What was it?

00:33:36.344 --> 00:33:37.124
Peach a runt?

00:33:37.253 --> 00:33:38.203
What is this thing?

00:33:39.263 --> 00:33:39.913
I hate it.

00:33:40.009 --> 00:33:40.788
Sinistra,

00:33:41.114 --> 00:33:43.243
S shin, shin esh ja.

00:33:44.058 --> 00:33:44.959
just type in like Macha

00:33:45.034 --> 00:33:47.903
I did, and it gave me peach a runt.

00:33:49.949 --> 00:33:51.479
Oh, that's the other one, that's the Mochi.

00:33:52.134 --> 00:33:55.713
That's, isn't mo I thought mochi and machi were the same thing.

00:33:56.348 --> 00:33:57.778
Apparently not, I don't know, I don't know

00:33:57.848 --> 00:34:01.288
No, mochi is like an ice cream dessert.

00:34:02.233 --> 00:34:03.263
what I was talking about.

00:34:03.263 --> 00:34:04.064
What are y'all talking

00:34:04.409 --> 00:34:05.578
Matcha is like

00:34:05.723 --> 00:34:06.644
This is like gangbang all

00:34:06.659 --> 00:34:08.309
Matcha is like a drink.

00:34:09.083 --> 00:34:09.574
Yeah, it's a

00:34:09.764 --> 00:34:13.193
Okay, so I'm gonna Google T Pokemon and I'm gonna get Sinistea.

00:34:14.003 --> 00:34:17.153
And it better be authentic, goddammit, or I will send it back to the

00:34:18.309 --> 00:34:20.449
Geez, Brett, get educated.

00:34:20.914 --> 00:34:24.713
Oh my god, fuck you! Hey, there was a Hey!

00:34:24.829 --> 00:34:25.309
you, David.

00:34:25.443 --> 00:34:29.273
I used to know my Pokemon inside and out when there was 151

00:34:29.329 --> 00:34:30.018
inside and out.

00:34:30.018 --> 00:34:30.989
I'm sure you did.

00:34:31.134 --> 00:34:32.713
Oh my god, here

00:34:32.744 --> 00:34:33.083
Knew him

00:34:33.384 --> 00:34:35.864
here we go, here we go!

00:34:35.958 --> 00:34:36.898
You know, you like that

00:34:36.903 --> 00:34:38.384
Hannah's just gonna,

00:34:38.414 --> 00:34:39.233
Yeah.

00:34:39.393 --> 00:34:40.684
You know, like that Baneri?

00:34:40.804 --> 00:34:41.614
That Lopunny?

00:34:41.719 --> 00:34:43.088
He likes that man time.

00:34:43.088 --> 00:34:43.829
There's

00:34:43.974 --> 00:34:59.028
No, that's you! That's you! That is you, Hannah! Okay, that is one episode I had to edit because Hannah was so Filthy, and disgusting, and borderline offensive, that I

00:34:59.063 --> 00:35:00.074
She was that Garbodor.

00:35:00.528 --> 00:35:05.739
I published that episode and was very uncomfortable publishing it, that I had to take it down.

00:35:06.099 --> 00:35:09.759
I I had to change the title, because, like, the title was too much,

00:35:09.969 --> 00:35:11.878
You had to take that episode down?

00:35:12.974 --> 00:35:13.804
it back, but,

00:35:13.898 --> 00:35:14.318
Okay.

00:35:14.713 --> 00:35:18.693
yeah, but like the title is now censored, like it, it was too much

00:35:18.824 --> 00:35:21.594
clustered his shelters and took down the cloisters you

00:35:21.824 --> 00:35:23.684
Hannah's the Mantine Freak

00:35:23.733 --> 00:35:25.014
It was too much for his onyx, man.

00:35:25.643 --> 00:35:28.773
Go back and listen to that episode and know that I had nothing to do with it.

00:35:29.503 --> 00:35:31.273
Except I'm complicit in releasing the episode.

00:35:32.222 --> 00:35:33.831
And, and I designed the t shirt.

00:35:34.130 --> 00:35:34.721
I can't find

00:35:34.840 --> 00:35:36.090
y'all put a t shirt for that

00:35:36.090 --> 00:35:36.380
about.

00:35:36.621 --> 00:35:37.170
I give up.

00:35:37.170 --> 00:35:38.081
I just get nothing but sinister.

00:35:38.721 --> 00:35:39.280
It's fine.

00:35:39.719 --> 00:35:41.018
A thousand Pokemon exist.

00:35:41.018 --> 00:35:44.432
We can, we can all accept that somebody doesn't know all the Pokemon.

00:35:44.443 --> 00:35:45.472
It's fine.

00:35:45.523 --> 00:35:48.672
Nobody cares if you know them all or not anymore.

00:35:48.963 --> 00:35:50.152
gotta catch them all.

00:35:50.282 --> 00:35:50.972
Fuck that.

00:35:51.222 --> 00:35:52.253
Like, no we don't.

00:35:52.590 --> 00:35:54.349
Like, no we don't.

00:35:54.920 --> 00:35:57.210
It's nothing to be ashamed of, is all I'm saying.

00:35:57.280 --> 00:36:00.251
Cause it's hard! You have to, you have to buy so many games.

00:36:00.563 --> 00:36:06.713
what, what, am I also expected to spend the subscription money for Pokemon Bank to move these damn things around, or home, I mean?

00:36:07.014 --> 00:36:10.483
Like, yeah, you are! And Just because I want a what?

00:36:10.483 --> 00:36:11.143
A Magearna?

00:36:11.313 --> 00:36:12.403
Yeah, I want a Magearna.

00:36:12.664 --> 00:36:19.934
I don't want to spend Whatever how much it is on home and then collect a thousand Pokemon and put it in there so I can get my Magearna.

00:36:20.103 --> 00:36:20.923
It's too much work.

00:36:21.333 --> 00:36:22.704
I'm not, it's not fun.

00:36:22.824 --> 00:36:26.021
It's, it's too much Inventory management, which I don't want to do.

00:36:27.490 --> 00:36:29.121
Tell us how you really feel.

00:36:29.385 --> 00:36:30.365
yeah, go

00:36:30.471 --> 00:36:31.851
Fuck Donald Trump.

00:36:32.590 --> 00:36:33.291
Okay,

00:36:33.440 --> 00:36:35.570
You asked, you asked how

00:36:36.380 --> 00:36:37.800
we were talking about Pokémon.

00:36:37.931 --> 00:36:38.240
I didn't

00:36:38.286 --> 00:36:39.556
Yeah, I thought you're talking about Pokemon

00:36:39.606 --> 00:36:41.085
you asked how I really feel,

00:36:42.831 --> 00:36:43.900
I hope we're gonna cut that.

00:36:44.425 --> 00:36:44.865
I don't know.

00:36:44.865 --> 00:36:45.295
Don't cut it.

00:36:45.315 --> 00:36:45.746
Leave it in.

00:36:45.746 --> 00:36:47.896
He's a traitorous psychopath to democracy.

00:36:48.010 --> 00:36:50.721
I mean, we get, we get that, but this is Pokémon.

00:36:51.445 --> 00:36:52.186
No, that's fine.

00:36:52.436 --> 00:36:58.976
Well, you know, as the Mr, as the Pokeball turns, if your listenership is offended by that, they don't have to listen to our show.

00:36:59.266 --> 00:37:03.025
Please continue, dear Trumper, listening to as the Pokeball turns.

00:37:04.425 --> 00:37:07.306
Uh, we'll see you again after the break, after they cut me out of this episode.

00:37:07.556 --> 00:37:12.545
Doot, doodoo, doodoo, doot, doodoo, doot.

00:37:12.936 --> 00:37:15.655
Please stand by, we are experiencing technical difficulties.

00:37:15.715 --> 00:37:16.916
Doot, doodoo.

00:37:17.126 --> 00:37:18.065
They drag me off

00:37:18.226 --> 00:37:21.525
We will return you to your regularly scheduled program.

00:37:22.036 --> 00:37:26.315
Right, right I

00:37:26.715 --> 00:37:28.045
and nobody else.

00:37:32.456 --> 00:37:35.416
said one anti Trump remark and it got canceled somehow

00:37:35.956 --> 00:37:37.275
That would be a trip, right?

00:37:37.286 --> 00:37:39.445
The anti Trump guy gets cancelled.

00:37:40.289 --> 00:37:40.650
Oh my god.

00:37:40.670 --> 00:37:42.469
Did somebody just fall over and die?

00:37:42.530 --> 00:37:43.230
What was that?

00:37:43.559 --> 00:37:44.139
Oh, no, hannah.

00:37:44.170 --> 00:37:44.820
We lost her.

00:37:44.989 --> 00:37:45.829
Oh god.

00:37:45.829 --> 00:37:54.788
It'd be a shame if somebody talked for her while she was muted let's do muppet voices for her Oh, she's back I just heard her laugh.

00:37:55.105 --> 00:37:56.905
Oh God, Hannah, we thought you lost you.

00:37:56.980 --> 00:38:01.690
a microphone getting chucked out of a window and then you're, you were muted for a moment

00:38:02.175 --> 00:38:09.204
No, I went to turn my microphone up a little bit so I could hear you better and then like my shoulder popped and I'm like hmm, I'm glad I had it

00:38:09.460 --> 00:38:12.440
so we heard, that was your shoulder popping and not a microphone?

00:38:12.806 --> 00:38:13.215
I thought it was the

00:38:13.291 --> 00:38:14.971
Seek medical attention.

00:38:15.695 --> 00:38:17.385
Yeah, you might not have a

00:38:17.710 --> 00:38:19.791
I am concerned for your well being.

00:38:19.956 --> 00:38:21.615
Yeah, that's like my ages.

00:38:21.686 --> 00:38:22.266
Showing.

00:38:22.496 --> 00:38:24.025
You're ageist showing.

00:38:24.355 --> 00:38:25.264
So you're an ageist.

00:38:25.275 --> 00:38:27.784
You don't like people that are younger or older or both.

00:38:27.900 --> 00:38:29.539
She doesn't like people, anything

00:38:29.764 --> 00:38:34.204
for her to like you, you have to be the exact same age as her, but she won't tell you what that is.

00:38:34.532 --> 00:38:35.693
So good luck, everybody.

00:38:36.047 --> 00:38:37.257
Good luck, everybody.

00:38:37.871 --> 00:38:42.711
What is it with Pokémon lately and designing Pokémon professors that are just totally bangable?

00:38:44.362 --> 00:38:45.492
I mean, tell me I'm wrong.

00:38:45.512 --> 00:38:46.112
Think about it.

00:38:46.202 --> 00:38:49.722
Scarlet and Violet, they got Hot Professor Lady and Hot Professor Dude.

00:38:50.045 --> 00:38:50.525
Right?

00:38:51.155 --> 00:38:52.945
Uh, Pokemon Go's professor.

00:38:53.307 --> 00:38:53.998
Super hot.

00:38:54.307 --> 00:38:54.831
Sonia.

00:38:54.831 --> 00:38:57.070
From Sword and Shield, she becomes the professor.

00:38:57.371 --> 00:38:59.027
And she's the hottest of all of them.

00:38:59.358 --> 00:39:00.539
you don't think Professor Oak was hot?

00:39:00.539 --> 00:39:01.059
He had that salt and

00:39:01.264 --> 00:39:07.884
I mean, he's a Zaddy for sure, but that was There's a long You got a long gap between Professor Zaddy and Professor Sonia.

00:39:08.186 --> 00:39:08.445
That's what

00:39:08.456 --> 00:39:09.826
we know what Brett's into.

00:39:10.322 --> 00:39:11.092
Oh, big time, yeah.

00:39:11.443 --> 00:39:12.182
You're correct.

00:39:12.182 --> 00:39:12.632
Madam.

00:39:12.922 --> 00:39:13.552
Thank you.

00:39:15.463 --> 00:39:17.782
think the only least one would be Professor Elm.

00:39:18.003 --> 00:39:18.902
I don't think really anybody would

00:39:19.063 --> 00:39:19.202
Yeah.

00:39:19.202 --> 00:39:20.233
That's forever ago though.

00:39:20.242 --> 00:39:20.813
I'm saying like

00:39:20.873 --> 00:39:21.652
He's like the simp of

00:39:21.733 --> 00:39:22.992
the new professors

00:39:23.152 --> 00:39:24.052
robot thing?

00:39:24.552 --> 00:39:25.782
the fuck are you talking about?

00:39:25.782 --> 00:39:27.672
Are you talking about Pokemon here?

00:39:27.907 --> 00:39:28.168
AI?

00:39:28.413 --> 00:39:30.018
Comes out in Pokemon Go.

00:39:30.253 --> 00:39:33.063
You know what's really gonna fuckin blow y'all's fuckin minds?

00:39:33.074 --> 00:39:34.864
Is that me and Hannah have been A.

00:39:34.864 --> 00:39:35.023
I.

00:39:35.034 --> 00:39:35.724
this whole time.

00:39:35.724 --> 00:39:36.054
We're A.

00:39:36.054 --> 00:39:36.253
I.

00:39:36.284 --> 00:39:37.304
podcast hosts.

00:39:38.043 --> 00:39:38.414
I had to bring him

00:39:38.583 --> 00:39:44.103
Welcome to hell, everyone! Art is dead! Art

00:39:44.134 --> 00:39:45.094
I put in all the after

00:39:45.204 --> 00:39:47.123
Uh, I just remembered what you're talking about.

00:39:47.123 --> 00:39:48.494
They're not a robot, Hannah.

00:39:48.494 --> 00:39:50.293
They're from another Dimension

00:39:50.838 --> 00:39:51.728
Yeah, that thing.

00:39:51.818 --> 00:39:53.369
Special Forces or something.

00:39:53.648 --> 00:39:56.768
Yeah, but they don't look like that, like that's just like a helmet they're wearing.

00:39:56.778 --> 00:39:56.898
they're

00:39:56.978 --> 00:39:58.539
It looks like it's Dubstep.

00:39:59.329 --> 00:40:00.728
probably fine underneath there.

00:40:00.739 --> 00:40:02.128
Just like Daft Punk

00:40:02.369 --> 00:40:03.659
not Daft Punk.

00:40:03.659 --> 00:40:04.289
Thank you.

00:40:04.429 --> 00:40:04.858
they're probably,

00:40:05.048 --> 00:40:05.969
I said Dubstep.

00:40:06.338 --> 00:40:08.509
That is not helping my age at all.

00:40:10.298 --> 00:40:15.563
Hannah, Hannah loves, she just loves to wake up and on her playlist she starts playing some wub wub.

00:40:16.130 --> 00:40:18.320
Some dead Maovivy?

00:40:20.806 --> 00:40:23.485
Play me some of that Dubstep, please.

00:40:23.621 --> 00:40:26.150
Lemme some of that feller with the marshmellow head.

00:40:29.804 --> 00:40:31.253
What's that mad gentleman's name?

00:40:31.744 --> 00:40:31.943
Skrillex?

00:40:33.693 --> 00:40:35.454
Look, a wild Skrillex appeared.

00:40:35.454 --> 00:40:45.864
Blululululululululululullululululalululululululalululululolululululululullululalulululululullulululululul We got problems.

00:40:46.724 --> 00:40:47.653
It's the DJ Pokemon.

00:40:47.653 --> 00:40:49.733
DJ these nuts.

00:40:49.873 --> 00:40:50.134
what I was saying.

00:40:50.134 --> 00:40:51.393
I wish they had a DJ Pokemon.

00:40:51.403 --> 00:40:52.534
Like, uh, what's that Pokemon?

00:40:52.543 --> 00:40:53.833
The one with the purple?

00:40:53.833 --> 00:40:53.934
I don't know.

00:40:53.934 --> 00:40:55.344
Yeah,

00:40:55.373 --> 00:40:58.063
rain, purple rain.

00:40:58.344 --> 00:40:58.833
Prince?

00:40:59.297 --> 00:40:59.878
Toxicity.

00:41:00.108 --> 00:41:01.927
was kind of a Pokemon, if you think about it.

00:41:02.228 --> 00:41:03.398
He loved pancakes.

00:41:03.708 --> 00:41:05.527
I'm sure berries to some degree.

00:41:05.833 --> 00:41:08.523
He probably slept in a ball like a freaky little guy.

00:41:08.824 --> 00:41:09.983
Had multiple trainers.

00:41:10.293 --> 00:41:10.914
Think about it.

00:41:10.969 --> 00:41:12.219
my stars, Brett.

00:41:14.284 --> 00:41:15.693
That went for eternity, Inspector.

00:41:16.253 --> 00:41:19.880
I gotta think, like, that's something that hasn't been explored, Pokémon's lifespan.

00:41:19.891 --> 00:41:21.710
Is it put on hold in the Pokéball?

00:41:22.110 --> 00:41:28.661
Cause they're, they're clearly conscious in there, otherwise, like, Psyduck and others wouldn't be able to just burst out whenever they feel like it.

00:41:28.960 --> 00:41:32.561
So, like, they're chillin in their Pokéball, does that mean they're also aging in the Pokémon?

00:41:32.561 --> 00:41:35.791
And then, like, also, does their lifespan, Similar to that of their trainers.

00:41:35.791 --> 00:41:36.951
Like, do they outlive them?

00:41:36.951 --> 00:41:38.505
Do they die super quick?

00:41:38.864 --> 00:41:42.735
Cause like, I don't know, a spider Pokemon is probably not long for this world.

00:41:43.068 --> 00:41:48.847
Like your Galvantula has probably got like maybe 20 years if it's a female and then it's toast.

00:41:49.190 --> 00:41:50.751
Seems like a bad investment if you're a trainer.

00:41:51.213 --> 00:41:56.873
I think time stops for them because, uh, I don't know if you watched the fourth movie, Lucario came out of his Pokeball and he thought he was still in the recording.

00:41:57.233 --> 00:41:58.884
The exact timeline of his trainer.

00:41:59.199 --> 00:42:01.909
yeah but I, I think he was stupid though.

00:42:03.300 --> 00:42:03.690
Uh,

00:42:03.856 --> 00:42:04.826
damn, dude,

00:42:04.981 --> 00:42:13.661
there's so much precedent of other Pokemon that just burst out of their Pokeballs, like when their trainer otherwise, just to cause mischief or whatever.

00:42:14.041 --> 00:42:21.181
Like, like Misty's Psyduck, he just sh or, or Team Rocket's very, like, Victory Bell would just jump out and latch on to James head.

00:42:21.512 --> 00:42:21.961
But that's

00:42:21.976 --> 00:42:30.467
they must just be bored, because if time was stopped, they wouldn't be able to consciously make that decision that, like, I'm gone, I'm busting out of this fucking place and kicking the Poké Ball open.

00:42:31.050 --> 00:42:34.809
but that's so like ethically, it's so mean.

00:42:35.230 --> 00:42:35.840
Like,

00:42:35.954 --> 00:42:37.465
Putting them in a ball in the first place?

00:42:37.465 --> 00:42:37.885
Yeah.

00:42:38.380 --> 00:42:46.360
well, and then if time stops, you know, and then they open the ball, it's like, oh, you're not who put me in here.

00:42:46.400 --> 00:42:47.539
Where did my person

00:42:47.675 --> 00:42:51.315
oh, yeah, I'm their grandson, you're my Pokémon now.

00:42:51.664 --> 00:42:52.485
Yeah, you're right, Hannah.

00:42:52.938 --> 00:42:57.487
it's like leaving a dog in a house and it's waiting on their owner to come back.

00:42:57.557 --> 00:42:58.027
Like,

00:42:58.103 --> 00:43:00.282
Can you imagine if Pokeballs were in the real world?

00:43:00.282 --> 00:43:05.623
Like people would ha Yeah, I got about 20 dogs, but I don't feel like feeding them today, so I'm just leaving them in their Pokeball.

00:43:06.027 --> 00:43:07.077
oh, cool.

00:43:07.286 --> 00:43:10.077
It's just pets when you want to have pets, but not when you don't want to deal with them.

00:43:10.402 --> 00:43:10.722
yeah.

00:43:10.762 --> 00:43:11.211
What?

00:43:11.472 --> 00:43:12.152
Oh my gosh.

00:43:12.152 --> 00:43:13.271
It's Tomogachis.

00:43:14.007 --> 00:43:17.266
like, Ah, man, I really don't want to get up in the middle of the night to let you out to use the bathroom.

00:43:17.266 --> 00:43:21.217
Get back in your Pokeball! Dun dun! That's of my dog.

00:43:21.981 --> 00:43:25.231
And then you just see like news reports of 20 Pokeballs found with Pokemon

00:43:25.315 --> 00:43:32.615
Oh, can you imagine, like, tornadoes, sunken boats, like these Pokeballs that just get lost forever, the Pokemon are just trapped in there forever.

00:43:33.456 --> 00:43:35.186
Damn, this took a dark

00:43:35.335 --> 00:43:36.215
This is the Halloween

00:43:36.440 --> 00:43:37.490
took a dark right

00:43:37.735 --> 00:43:42.516
All of those, do, do they all then become ghosts at that point, I guess?

00:43:42.565 --> 00:43:43.195
I guess so.

00:43:43.371 --> 00:43:45.161
At what point do Pokemon become ghost?

00:43:45.210 --> 00:43:46.001
That's a real question.

00:43:46.556 --> 00:43:54.596
Which also is, brings up the conundrum of like, are ghost Pokemon actually ghosts, or are they living creatures that can reproduce because they can reproduce with Ditto?

00:43:56.963 --> 00:44:01.173
Oh, did I blow Hannah's bra Hannah's brain just exploded.

00:44:02.059 --> 00:44:03.829
We got real deep into this Pokemon lore.

00:44:04.059 --> 00:44:09.000
F GIVE US HARD FACTS, POKEMON COMPANY, YOU COWARDS!

00:44:09.360 --> 00:44:13.010
We want the truth, are Pokemon actually alive or

00:44:13.190 --> 00:44:15.070
We don't need another Pokedex.

00:44:15.099 --> 00:44:19.340
What we need is someone to actually study these creatures and their natural habitats.

00:44:19.340 --> 00:44:20.960
I want a Pokemon biologist.

00:44:21.260 --> 00:44:30.822
Give me Pokemon National Geograph Oh, wait, that's I don't think Snap's a good example because you're literally like smashing through their environment and chucking apples at their brains.

00:44:31.132 --> 00:44:36.342
Hey you, do something for the, pose for this fucking picture and then just beans him in the head with an apple.

00:44:37.697 --> 00:44:45.097
Charizard jumps out of a volcano and goes, augh! Yeah, of course, they're going to react for your photo if you swack him in the head with a fruit.

00:44:45.545 --> 00:44:47.115
I would throw

00:44:47.166 --> 00:44:47.896
content we can do

00:44:48.275 --> 00:44:49.025
some tacos to me.

00:44:49.025 --> 00:44:49.135
I'll

00:44:49.186 --> 00:44:49.766
We could throw

00:44:49.945 --> 00:44:50.525
Yeah, really.

00:44:51.286 --> 00:44:53.485
apples at each other and take pictures.

00:44:55.005 --> 00:44:57.135
I really want that to be our photo shoot.

00:44:58.206 --> 00:44:58.425
Oh

00:44:58.565 --> 00:44:59.485
Oh, come on, snap.

00:44:59.706 --> 00:45:02.885
Hannah's wearing like little Pikachu ears and I'm chucking an apple at her.

00:45:05.034 --> 00:45:06.114
We need to write this down.

00:45:06.884 --> 00:45:07.474
not going to.

00:45:07.974 --> 00:45:09.914
But I want to play a game and it's

00:45:10.016 --> 00:45:10.277
game.

00:45:10.277 --> 00:45:11.583
Do you wanna play a

00:45:11.724 --> 00:45:12.684
you want to play a game

00:45:13.458 --> 00:45:15.628
Let's, let's play a game.

00:45:16.373 --> 00:45:18.503
it's called what's that Pokemon?

00:45:24.494 --> 00:45:25.474
What's that?

00:45:25.534 --> 00:45:27.003
Pokemon!

00:45:27.199 --> 00:45:28.438
that Pokemon?

00:45:28.543 --> 00:45:30.974
Da da da! I wanna be the

00:45:31.284 --> 00:45:33.623
the very best like No

00:45:34.199 --> 00:45:36.853
one ever was as

00:45:37.250 --> 00:45:40.833
dear friends, to train them is my goal.

00:45:41.063 --> 00:45:41.164
was.

00:45:41.280 --> 00:45:45.759
catch em all! Ha ha ha ha, yes master, I

00:45:45.829 --> 00:45:46.588
she kept it going.

00:45:46.809 --> 00:45:48.818
Gotta catch them all, master.

00:45:50.668 --> 00:45:51.409
I've caught them

00:45:51.498 --> 00:45:52.599
gotta catch em all.

00:45:52.778 --> 00:45:53.579
gotta catch em all.

00:45:53.579 --> 00:45:53.668
little

00:45:53.798 --> 00:45:55.838
and this is my brother, Begor.

00:45:56.059 --> 00:45:58.119
We're here for you, master.

00:45:58.755 --> 00:46:01.786
So, we're training the podcast is 1, 000 Pokemon.

00:46:01.865 --> 00:46:03.891
Where there are only 1, 000 Pokemon.

00:46:04.090 --> 00:46:07.271
But the only one that matters is the one I'm thinking about.

00:46:07.356 --> 00:46:09.496
Okay, oh

00:46:09.561 --> 00:46:12.061
is y'all have to guess which Pokemon that I'm thinking

00:46:12.286 --> 00:46:12.996
Do we get to

00:46:13.130 --> 00:46:16.251
can ask this 10 questions in a yes or no format.

00:46:17.210 --> 00:46:22.260
After the 10 questions, you have to guess which Pokemon I'm thinking of based on what information you gathered.

00:46:23.070 --> 00:46:26.201
And because this is Pokemon, if you fail to do

00:46:26.425 --> 00:46:27.646
we have to cut off our hands?

00:46:31.719 --> 00:46:32.418
No,

00:46:33.119 --> 00:46:34.389
That is a conflict of interest.

00:46:35.208 --> 00:46:36.349
Like, we might not have one.

00:46:36.349 --> 00:46:38.688
We sold our souls to Ken from Lured Up.

00:46:38.978 --> 00:46:39.699
What's up, bruddy?

00:46:40.608 --> 00:46:40.998
What's up?

00:46:41.248 --> 00:46:42.039
What's up, daddy?

00:46:42.208 --> 00:46:42.858
Daddy Ken?

00:46:43.199 --> 00:46:43.588
All right.

00:46:44.099 --> 00:46:44.969
Hannah, do you want to go first?

00:46:44.969 --> 00:46:45.798
You want me to go first?

00:46:45.954 --> 00:46:46.784
um

00:46:54.150 --> 00:46:55.291
I got one if you don't have one.

00:46:55.545 --> 00:46:56.416
Okay, go first.

00:46:57.740 --> 00:46:59.181
many legs does the Pokemon have?

00:46:59.181 --> 00:47:01.070
Oh, come on!

00:47:01.346 --> 00:47:04.255
Yeah, getting ready to say I think it's yeah, I think it's yes or no

00:47:11.094 --> 00:47:14.467
has more than two legs.

00:47:15.076 --> 00:47:17.985
More than it has more than two legs.

00:47:18.666 --> 00:47:19.456
So three or more.

00:47:20.036 --> 00:47:21.085
I got three myself.

00:47:28.472 --> 00:47:30.302
so it's a bipedal

00:47:30.463 --> 00:47:30.902
Maybe.

00:47:30.922 --> 00:47:32.643
There are Pokemon that have no legs, though.

00:47:33.612 --> 00:47:35.373
Hannah, representation matters.

00:47:35.382 --> 00:47:36.902
Some Pokemon don't have

00:47:37.043 --> 00:47:38.373
And, and how dare you.

00:47:38.373 --> 00:47:39.072
I would say walk a

00:47:39.172 --> 00:47:39.413
That's

00:47:40.242 --> 00:47:42.172
but they don't have shoes, and that would be wrong.

00:47:43.132 --> 00:47:51.590
Okay question number two Can the Pokemon be male or female.

00:47:51.760 --> 00:47:53.431
What the fuck does that mean?

00:47:53.851 --> 00:47:54.780
Well, there's other

00:47:55.260 --> 00:47:57.721
that's like 99 percent of the Pokemon!

00:47:57.840 --> 00:47:58.610
it's not!

00:47:59.030 --> 00:48:09.811
I mean, there's a bunch that are male only, and a bunch that are female only, and a bunch, some that have like no gender, but the vast majority of be male or female, you're, there's a way to word that that makes, that us out more,

00:48:09.916 --> 00:48:12.936
So your question is can they be either

00:48:21.266 --> 00:48:21.536
Right.

00:48:21.657 --> 00:48:24.286
Okay, so let me word this differently then.

00:48:24.646 --> 00:48:25.257
Um,

00:48:30.061 --> 00:48:30.811
No, you already said

00:48:30.896 --> 00:48:31.456
okay.

00:48:39.842 --> 00:48:40.501
Yes.

00:48:40.532 --> 00:48:42.601
the Pokemon can be male or female.

00:48:42.996 --> 00:48:43.606
it down.

00:48:44.052 --> 00:48:44.652
It's not

00:48:44.737 --> 00:48:45.657
question number

00:48:49.019 --> 00:48:50.320
Question number three.

00:48:50.360 --> 00:48:51.679
Okay, okay, okay, okay.

00:48:52.000 --> 00:48:56.079
I think, I think Hannah it would help if we tried to narrow down some of the types.

00:48:56.969 --> 00:48:57.389
Okay.

00:48:57.480 --> 00:48:59.860
that could actually cut out, I think, a lot of options

00:49:00.130 --> 00:49:01.050
That's a good idea.

00:49:02.311 --> 00:49:07.567
Pokemon in question have More than one type.

00:49:16.217 --> 00:49:21.458
It does not have more than one

00:49:21.637 --> 00:49:22.887
So it's, so, okay.

00:49:22.887 --> 00:49:26.117
So we can mark off things like Charizard and stuff like that.

00:49:26.708 --> 00:49:28.688
Because it's only got one type.

00:49:29.688 --> 00:49:30.378
Great.

00:49:35.842 --> 00:49:36.398
four

00:49:36.398 --> 00:49:37.478
number four.

00:49:39.088 --> 00:49:44.969
So, then, Brett, we need to So, it's one type.

00:49:45.532 --> 00:49:46.192
Right.

00:49:46.512 --> 00:49:49.012
I got, I got my next question already lined up.

00:49:49.202 --> 00:49:49.782
Pew pew!

00:49:50.873 --> 00:49:53.353
Is it a dark type Pokemon?

00:49:53.552 --> 00:49:55.143
Very specific, Hannah.

00:49:55.342 --> 00:49:56.583
Very specific.

00:50:20.684 --> 00:50:24.474
Well, there's only 30 more types to go.

00:50:24.505 --> 00:50:24.925
Uh.

00:50:24.925 --> 00:50:25.039
Hannah.

00:50:28.494 --> 00:50:29.994
So, my question

00:50:30.199 --> 00:50:31.019
And the shadows are up.

00:50:31.724 --> 00:50:38.494
is, does this Pokémon have two or more evolution stages?

00:50:47.742 --> 00:50:48.382
Two or more.

00:50:57.943 --> 00:51:02.643
So that means it goes from the base form, and then it can go to the poppy form.

00:51:02.748 --> 00:51:04.617
Or it may not even have a base.

00:51:05.108 --> 00:51:05.748
May not even

00:51:05.967 --> 00:51:08.878
Oh yeah, it could, it could, it could just have not have an evolution as

00:51:11.141 --> 00:51:13.431
Is this a legendary Pokemon?

00:51:31.893 --> 00:51:33.702
Brett's a lot more technical than I am.

00:51:39.527 --> 00:51:41.967
I'm I'm I'm running as the wells running dry.

00:51:41.967 --> 00:51:42.347
Thank God.

00:51:42.347 --> 00:51:44.987
He didn't say we had 10 each cause there's no way I could have

00:51:45.242 --> 00:51:45.932
Oh, I know.

00:51:46.108 --> 00:51:53.579
it's hard enough just to get to think of any more, is the Pokemon.

00:51:57.240 --> 00:52:09.371
Is the Pokemon from, I'm trying to think of how to word this, Is this Pokemon from the newer generation of Pokemon games on the Switch?

00:52:18.827 --> 00:52:19.536
That's my question.

00:52:33.949 --> 00:52:34.550
knew he was gonna do that.

00:52:34.559 --> 00:52:42.179
I, I, I knew he was feeding us those was gonna say, It is dot, dot, dot, not go fuck yourself.

00:52:43.289 --> 00:52:51.539
Okay, so that means it's in, it's from the like, original ish games on, Your old Game Boy Color hanging out,

00:52:52.414 --> 00:52:52.914
Okay.

00:53:01.889 --> 00:53:09.432
I I got fucking nothing! I got nothing! I got nothing! Oh my god.

00:53:09.907 --> 00:53:11.847
And so far, nobody's failed this yet.

00:53:18.849 --> 00:53:20.579
Nobody's failed this game yet?

00:53:21.233 --> 00:53:21.583
Uh uh.

00:53:21.588 --> 00:53:23.579
We're f We suck.

00:53:23.668 --> 00:53:25.429
We suck so bad.

00:53:26.298 --> 00:53:28.429
I'm Googling Pokemon with no legs.

00:53:28.449 --> 00:53:29.409
Heheheheh.

00:53:30.373 --> 00:53:30.748
ha ha

00:53:30.844 --> 00:53:33.474
So I'm, I'm just gonna throw this.

00:53:34.393 --> 00:53:37.313
Is this part of the Kanto region?

00:53:38.304 --> 00:53:39.893
Very specific.

00:53:58.516 --> 00:54:00.487
Okay, that narrows out one.

00:54:00.677 --> 00:54:04.896
Like, if you, if it was from Kanto, then that would have been a jackpot question,

00:54:05.001 --> 00:54:05.601
Oh, I know.

00:54:05.601 --> 00:54:06.681
I took a shot

00:54:06.797 --> 00:54:15.137
yeah, I applaud it, but because it's not from Kanto, that means we just have like six more games we gotta try figure this out.

00:54:15.367 --> 00:54:15.947
Alright, my last

00:54:16.081 --> 00:54:16.831
question,

00:54:17.206 --> 00:54:18.427
yeah, I'm just gonna ask.

00:54:19.217 --> 00:54:23.447
Is the Pokemon fire, water, or grass?

00:54:23.447 --> 00:54:23.487
Thanks.

00:54:33.114 --> 00:54:37.594
Is the Pokemon I'm thinking of either a fire, water, or grass

00:54:37.670 --> 00:54:38.130
Yes.

00:54:38.409 --> 00:54:39.219
Like the starters.

00:54:42.934 --> 00:54:43.744
It is

00:54:44.690 --> 00:54:49.159
So it's fire, water, or gra You bastard! bastard!

00:54:49.204 --> 00:54:50.215
water type.

00:54:50.842 --> 00:54:53.293
So it's not fire, water, grass, or dark.

00:54:53.503 --> 00:54:55.463
It has less than three legs.

00:54:55.472 --> 00:55:00.902
It's not from Kanto, Sword, Shield, Scarlet, Violet, whatever that other game was.

00:55:01.333 --> 00:55:07.083
Um, and uh, yeah, we're boned.

00:55:07.277 --> 00:55:10.108
So Brett, we're saying it's not a starter Pokemon.

00:55:10.313 --> 00:55:11.092
It can't be.

00:55:11.818 --> 00:55:12.248
Okay.

00:55:12.373 --> 00:55:17.822
Just because it's not fire, water, or grass, so it can't be that.

00:55:17.902 --> 00:55:20.643
a sacrifice after dark, right?

00:55:20.663 --> 00:55:22.222
You've got one more question

00:55:22.233 --> 00:55:22.353
oh.

00:55:22.353 --> 00:55:22.893
We do.

00:55:22.893 --> 00:55:24.512
Oh, I thought we were, I thought that was our last one.

00:55:38.509 --> 00:55:39.679
It's off to Gracie.

00:55:40.298 --> 00:55:42.119
Can she ask the right question?

00:55:43.320 --> 00:55:43.789
Okay.

00:55:45.579 --> 00:55:47.550
I don't know what you want me to ask.

00:55:47.550 --> 00:55:48.382
I'm so nervous.

00:55:48.382 --> 00:55:49.489
You want me to?

00:55:49.519 --> 00:55:57.521
I mean, I mean, let's be honest, you could just like whittle it down and just ask if it's like another type or, yeah, that's all I got.

00:55:58.115 --> 00:56:00.556
Or you could ask if it has no legs or two legs.

00:56:01.545 --> 00:56:03.655
Because there's no shot it only has one leg, right?

00:56:03.695 --> 00:56:07.226
I'm sure there's a Pokemon that has only got one leg that I can't think of.

00:56:07.246 --> 00:56:10.545
Like, even Hoothoot has two legs, he's just only showing one at a time.

00:56:12.170 --> 00:56:12.690
Okay.

00:56:12.735 --> 00:56:13.056
Hoothoot?

00:56:13.525 --> 00:56:14.396
No, that's not the question.

00:56:14.585 --> 00:56:15.746
That's not the question, don't answer that.

00:56:19.331 --> 00:56:19.880
Okay.

00:56:19.951 --> 00:56:24.570
Um, let's see.

00:56:24.661 --> 00:56:27.451
Not a dirt, not a grass, can't do, no.

00:56:27.525 --> 00:56:28.476
not legendary.

00:56:34.867 --> 00:56:38.427
And we will reveal the answer after these messages next week.

00:56:39.038 --> 00:56:40.668
See you then, trainers.

00:56:43.753 --> 00:56:45.483
Will our heroes be able to figure out the

00:56:45.728 --> 00:56:46.998
Heroes is generous.

00:56:47.282 --> 00:56:48.371
I don't know what else to call you guys.

00:56:49.061 --> 00:56:50.681
Will our degenerates figure out

00:56:50.766 --> 00:56:53.396
more like the venom of the Pokemon podcast world.

00:56:54.186 --> 00:56:56.947
We say naughty words people out.

00:56:57.391 --> 00:56:57.891
Okay.

00:56:57.992 --> 00:56:58.581
Um,

00:56:59.137 --> 00:57:00.416
Nobody's picked up on that.

00:57:00.431 --> 00:57:03.572
I don't know if I'm going to ask a region or if I want to ask a type.

00:57:04.021 --> 00:57:05.552
Brett, should I ask a type?

00:57:06.067 --> 00:57:07.996
I, do the type, yeah.

00:57:08.306 --> 00:57:11.847
the type, because if you nail it, then, then that can help tremendously.

00:57:12.371 --> 00:57:12.942
Okay.

00:57:13.661 --> 00:57:15.742
Is it a rock type Pokemon?

00:57:24.440 --> 00:57:26.481
Is the Pokemon I'm thinking of

00:57:26.746 --> 00:57:30.076
Rock type Pokémon are from Kanto, so this can't be

00:57:30.367 --> 00:57:30.666
Are you,

00:57:37.724 --> 00:57:38.393
Yeah, not,

00:57:38.659 --> 00:57:39.708
are you being serious

00:57:39.724 --> 00:57:41.534
done that to us like eight times, not.

00:57:41.773 --> 00:57:43.123
I knew as soon as he said it, it is.

00:57:43.293 --> 00:57:53.581
We haven't gotten a single question right, Hannah! It's always a long pause and then NELP! I know what my guess I got, I I just pick it

00:57:53.695 --> 00:57:55.166
Well, you only get one guess between each

00:57:55.181 --> 00:57:57.951
That's fine, I, I, can I go ahead and guess?

00:57:58.675 --> 00:58:00.835
It's Misdreavus.

00:58:01.420 --> 00:58:02.349
I'll agree with Brett.

00:58:04.945 --> 00:58:09.284
All of that research, she's looking at her phone, and she's like, fuck it.

00:58:10.105 --> 00:58:13.155
Brett's about as close as either of us will be.

00:58:14.105 --> 00:58:15.824
Why Misdreavus out of curiosity?

00:58:15.835 --> 00:58:19.235
it's the first thing I saw that had less than two, less than three legs.

00:58:19.664 --> 00:58:21.275
Uh, it's not any of the types.

00:58:21.335 --> 00:58:22.445
It's not from Kanto.

00:58:22.755 --> 00:58:23.865
it's not legendary.

00:58:24.206 --> 00:58:25.065
And it's Halloween.

00:58:25.516 --> 00:58:26.215
Spooky season.

00:58:27.155 --> 00:58:28.405
Mmm,

00:58:28.576 --> 00:58:29.155
or female.

00:58:29.755 --> 00:58:31.436
that would be crazy

00:58:31.476 --> 00:58:35.226
would be crazy if we roundabout somehow magically guessed.

00:58:35.266 --> 00:58:38.795
I will, I will throw my headset through the window.

00:58:39.876 --> 00:58:44.166
I will gronk spike it into the ground into a thousand pieces if I'm correct.

00:58:44.846 --> 00:58:46.715
And if I'm wrong, I'll kill myself.

00:58:47.365 --> 00:58:49.666
So you choose next words wisely, sir.

00:58:49.994 --> 00:58:51.414
Do you act like I have skin in this game?

00:58:52.829 --> 00:58:57.367
He put this episode on the dark web, Pokemon fan, kill self,

00:58:59.623 --> 00:59:00.862
That would be the title of the episode maybe

00:59:01.148 --> 00:59:04.168
and captions, what else is new?

00:59:04.800 --> 00:59:06.050
So the guess is Misdreavus.

00:59:06.780 --> 00:59:07.300
that right?

00:59:07.585 --> 00:59:08.175
correct.

00:59:08.684 --> 00:59:13.614
Hannah could cast a wider net for us by guessing a second Pokemon, but she also chose Misdreavus.

00:59:15.125 --> 00:59:16.625
She's doubling down on failure.

00:59:17.539 --> 00:59:18.438
The answer,

00:59:18.748 --> 00:59:21.548
I'm gonna be really upset if it's not Snowman Dairumaka.

00:59:22.539 --> 00:59:23.798
It was Meow Stick.

00:59:24.179 --> 00:59:27.108
Oh, one favorite Pokemon of all time.

00:59:28.018 --> 00:59:28.438
Yep.

00:59:28.989 --> 00:59:30.458
And I know Hannah Lights cats.

00:59:30.653 --> 00:59:31.103
Yep.

00:59:31.659 --> 00:59:33.389
my favorite Pokemon of all time,

00:59:33.974 --> 00:59:36.195
I should have asked if it was a psychic Pokemon.

00:59:38.635 --> 00:59:42.315
no! I can feel him sucking soul out right now!

00:59:42.474 --> 00:59:46.125
now y'all both get banished to the void

00:59:46.224 --> 00:59:47.804
was sucking our souls, Hannah.

00:59:48.724 --> 00:59:49.875
He's sucking it so good!

00:59:54.719 --> 00:59:57.349
